Hi Jennifer, what is the biggest size screen that can be used with your starter press? Also can plastisol ink be used on the screens the press comes with? Thank you in advance.

You can use almost any screen, you would just need a larger platen to accommodate- you can use any of the platens that Ryonet sells (the largest one that I have is 18”)

Do you need to put cardstock under you shirt when it’s on that pallet ? To stop the bleeding thru? Or is that what the pallet for

No need for card stock. The pallet needs to be sticky with pallet adhesive to hold the shirt in place. That way when you lift and lower the screen, it lands in the exact same spot. If you have a really thin shirt, some ink may get on the pallet, but that won’t affect your next print. www.pigskinsandpigtails.com/a/pallet-tack-adhesive

Jennifer, I notice that you place your screens on the table when you are swapping colors. Does it leave any ink on the surface?

I make sure to prop the screen up to prevent this- I have a strip of wood that I’ve placed at the edge of my table that gives just enough space between the screen and the tabletop.
