thank you so much! This was so helpful! I have had this machine for five years & the only thing I knew about it & how to use was the 4 thread overlock stitch. Now that I’ve seen all of this I can’t wait to go play around with it!
Hi, Brittany, I stumbled upon your video last night (7/28/21). You are a great instructor. I was having so many problems sergering with my s25 until in my frustration I put the serger in the corner for over 3 (three) years. Thanks to you i decided to pull it out of the corner and attempt once again to practice on the stitches. I have a very low tolerance. Thanks again for the video and please stay safe.
Thanks so much for these videos. They have confirmed my decision to purchase from Joanne’s. I like them because they offer instructional classes for their products. Tutorial very helpful
Very nice, I have the s21 so mine doesn’t have all the computerized yours does... I also have an older huskylock 1000 that I still use to serge and often keep my coverstitch mode.... look forward to seeing more about this machine.
I own a husqvarna 905 which is 15 year old and she is a beauty. I brought the s25 before Christmas and it was faulty. They replaced. It with another faulty machine which I was really sad about because have a lot of faith in there sergers. 😪
I learned a lot from your video but i always have problems threading the last step before threading the needles. The thread does not stay in the slots .
I have a hard time getting the thread to slide under the first guide behind the first disc any hints on how to get the thread to glide into these slots
I've been looking at this serger so this was so helpful! Thanks so much for sharing, Brittany. Looking forward to seeing more. Btw, I also swoon over the 980Q every time I'm in Joann's.😊
Look at the top left side of the lcd screen. once you have selected the stitch you would like there is a needle icon with the number 80 or 90. That is the size you use. Both are the elx705H system.
I bought a S25 five years ago, still haven't used it because of the threading problem. Glad I found this channel.

I now understand why this is such a popular machine. I need this now!! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you! Very helpful. I am determined to FINALLY figure out how to use this machine which I have owned for 3 years and have never used.
You are so awesome! Thank you for walking through the basics. New machines can be so intimidating. :-)

I don't own a Huskylock, but I did enjoy watching you demo your serger, I like to see what different features are offered by various companies.

What's the difference between the the Husqvarna Viking Husklock 936 and the s25? They look exactly the the same.
Would some of the threading techniques and the change to a cover stitch also apply to the Viking 936 serger?
Hi, I'm sorry, I'm not sure. I'm not familiar with that serger. It may be similar but again I'm not sure.
After all this time do you still recommend it?
Thank you, can anyone help me with the size of the thread? Is it 50?
Tack så mycken
What size, type needle do you use to cover stitch?
