My dad got this watch for Christmas almost a year ago, but his old watch didn’t break before today. And of course he had thrown away the user manual for this new one 😅 Thank you sooo much for this video! It made me helping him so much better!! English is not our first language, and being able to look and not just read is vey helpful!!

I bought this watch in May 2014, and today December 17th 2022 It still works well (8 years 6months old). I only changed the battery once in March 2022.
I bought one i wear it everyday and i love it.

I bought it 2 mounts ago and i didn’t know how to turn my alarm off.. It beeped every time at some time at night and it was annoying, but now u helped me to turn it off finaly.. Pretty good watch btw

I bought the exact same watch 1 day ago and battling with the very small instruction manual that came with it, one could hardly read that fine print. So I was searching for a lager manual on the internet, when I came upon your (this) video. This is the best, most helpful video I have seen in a long time, explaining the functions of a product, in this case, this watch. The explaining is very understanding, very clear and very helpful. QUESTION! When you turned on the signal on the alarm mode, all that’s gonna do is beep one time, when the regular time rolls over to the next hour, correct? But does turning on or off the signal, does it change or do anything for the alarm mode?

Yes. Thank you. Mine's been beeping on the hour against my wishes for years and thanks to this video I was finally able to get around to deactivating it.
What do I do if I can't change the date? I press the mode button but it only goes back and forth from hour to minute an won't go on to the year

I don't think I am going to be able to help you with your request but what I have done is to link to the instructions for both modules and hopefully you can determine the differences from there.

Hi there, yes it does. If you go to the 05:42 part of the video, I demonstrate how to activate the hourly time signal on the Casio W-800H.

how bout the AM and PM? how to adjust
First of all, make sure that the Casio W-800H set to the 12 hour time format (which you can find out how to alternate between the 12/24 hour formats if you skip to 1:21 in the featured video).
Then you need to adjust the hour part of the main time so that if it is an afternoon hour you are after then the letter 'P' will be featured on the main display. Alternatively if it is a morning hour then you will need to adjust the hour value until the letter 'P' is not shown.

I accidentally jumped to the year 2056 lol any idea how to go back to 2024??
Hi, just want to ask how to adjust the year backwards, my grandpa accidentally adjusted it to 2047 😂😂
Ha ha not to worry, it sounds like your grandpa enjoys the idea of time travelling to the future.
When you are at the part where you can adjust the year you just need to keep moving the year forward and after 2099 it will go back to 2000 where you can move it on to 2022. Unfortunately with the Casio W-800H you can only go forward and not backwards.
If it is any help I have just tried it on my Casio and it doesn’t take that long to get back to 2022.
