Reprogram Your ATEM Switcher Buttons with MixEffect and Companion

Have some buttons that you never use on your ATEM switcher? Here's how you can reprogram them to do something useful!
1. Use Bitfocus Companion to create triggers that listens to state changes from your ATEM.
2. Use MixEffect and its HTTP Feedback Server to send state changes to Companion.
3. Detect when the Picture in Picture, Transition Pattern, Transition DVE, and Duration buttons are pressed on the ATEM.
4. Add actions to perform when these conditions are triggered in Companion
