I like the music in the anti piracy screen. It has an eerie vibe to it and I love it.
It's actually the game over music from the original game, but tempo is slowed down a notch to make it creepy.
I think the other music that plays when Mickey is talking to the player is from a Sunsoft game for NES but I forgot what game it's from. EDIT: I believe the game in question is "Blaster Master".

Surprised you didn't use the ghost sprite that replaces Mickey in that one death you can get at the beginning of The Haunted Mansion as part of the freeze-frame bit.
Yeah, if you jump into to that ghost that's flying above you, who is also the stage boss. Using that would have been creepy to have him stare at you during that last screen where the "Mickey Is Not Happy With You" -message is displayed. Also having a 8-bit style scream sound effect would have amplified the scare factor quite a bit. What's interesting that if you jump into that ghost in the game, you don't lose a life in that instance. You can just try again without a penalty.
btw if someone's trying to know what Mickey said at the end, he said "They pay for their lives."
