Awesome, engaging. and a phenomenal amount of work. I hope your Masters is progressing well. Getting this uploaded must be a weight off, at least.

When the Sun is setting it casts your Shadow longer
Came here from your tweet. Super cool to know youre from NZ.
Glad you liked it 🤩
I always connected the lines about "the piper" not to the Christian God but to the Greek god Pan, who plays his eponymous *pipes* and inhabits the *forests* (and other wild environments). Pan makes an appearance in the novel _The Wind in the Willows,_ in a chapter called "The Piper at the Gates of *Dawn"* (whence the Pink Floyd album title). Those lines also seem to contain a reference to the Pied Piper of Hamelin, who entrances the children of Hamelin with his music so he can *lead* them off into bondage - though, interestingly, the Piper of this song leads us not to bondage but to reason. I'm not sure what to make of that.
I like your interpretations of the line "Our shadows taller than our souls". I always thought that line sounded cool as hell, but I never came up with any particular meaning for it. Both of your suggested interpretations sound good to me.
I also appreciate your bringing my attention to the bass in this song. I never paid much attention to it, but it's doing very important work. And, of course, you're completely right about the perfection of the drumming.
Great analysis! And good luck with your masters!
I think I meant to mentioned the Piper of Hamelin at some poi t but I chose not to.. for reasons? Lol I wrote the script such a long time ago.
Yeah, like I said, doing this analysis gave me a new found appreciation for JPJ. His work on this song is amazing.
Really glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the kind words 😁
Had the cd
Strider is also the name of Robert plant's dog
There are hints
It’s version of hell vs heaven. The silmarillion ❤❤❤
Is this about you or the song I can't get past the introduction
okay okay fine let's see what it's all about
Hedgerow
I’ve tried to figure this out. To be a rock and not to roll.
Great video. My feeling is Robert Plant probably wasn't going for anything religious. Also, you missed the sexual reading of having a 'bustle in your hedgerow'! Would like your take on Black Dog.
Read about the real piper.
Legit forgot u we’re making this lmfao
I almost did too 😅
Hot Dog
She Lucifer is the mayqueen Mother Earth
Thought he was gonna yes but my sweet satans clear as day
It's just a song.... Black Sabbath is better anyway.
