I️ recognize all the other shapes. Ghost, witch hat, grave, more ghosts, pumpkin, bat. Maybe it’s a bay with its wings at a different angle

Halloween isn't my thing really, BUT THAT is a beautiful lamp ! My worry is it would be hard to disassemble and fix if that LED strip crapped out ...

❤ This would be perfect for Halloween. Put in a window so all could see it, you do a really excellent job on all your pieces, and love them, have you thought of making a vase with whole dried spices like star aniseed, cinnamon bark,, cardamoms,,,peppercorns in different colors,, black,, greed,, and pink,,, bay leaves,, chillies,,🌶 so on I think it would look stunning my favourite so far is the pine cone one, but I would love to see a pot showing the spices like that pine cone one.

@@DavidsWoodturning I think spices would look great,, infact when getting my spices I like to buy in bulk for cooking, so I don't run out so quick, and I had made a pendent using star aniseed, with pink green and black pepper corns, and the woman in the shop asked where I got them, I told her I made them with resin and spices and wanted me to make her a pair of earring for her do when I got home I got to work, would love to try this woodturning, but we wouldn't have the space for the lathe,, or could even afford one ,,,and love making my jewelwey so ill stick to that. but sure looks good what you can do when woodturning though.
I think any kind of crafter has "well $!#$... new plan" at the very top of their most-used vocabulary. Those that don't can't make amazing things like this!

I just love the way that the resin comes off the cutting tool like “silly string”. Love the way the lamp turned out!

Every channel dealing with wood turning using resin uses the same two fisted, reverse holding, simultaneously dispensing two part epoxy application. Is this a union or an OSHA requirement?
Or simply a good practice

I’m so confused by his “mistake” it made no sense lol
First pour of resin was not enough so had to add a second layers the following day. But the second mix was slightly different colour and did not like how it turned out. So had to cut the top where the 2nd layer was and glue a wood top on. Resin shrinks while curing and also as bubbles got squashed in the pressure pot it further drops the resin level. I accounted for this but seems like still was not enough excess resin on top

Я не специалист в этом, но нельзя ли было не использовать внутри такой кусок дерева? Вы же его потом просто весь сточили в опилки. Сделать сразу внешнюю и внутреннюю грани для смолы - не пришлось бы столько сверлить и растачивать внутри.
