The star washer idea is genius!!! Kind of hard to grab the locking ring good enough to tighten it without fear of scratching the paint. Thank you very much for the videos.

Thanks for putting all three of those upgrades in one video. I’ve seen you do those in other videos before but nice to have one with all three. I was thinking a vintage tin first aid container would be cool to use to hide the fuse panel, that is if there is room on the kick panel for it. I’m going to try that on my car
Thanks for the tips. I beleave all the 2-doors have same length wire covers. My Nomad has them too. If you have some flat stock make your own because there very simple panels. Just put a notch for the windlace to tuck under it buy rolling it to prevent chafing.

You mentioned that you like using the EZ wiring kits but if you want to maybe look at another option, reach out to Mike at Spanky’s Hotrods, he just featured a universal wiring kit on his RUclips channel and he’s based out of Memphis, looked like a pretty decent kit. Thanks again for the video!
I had a similar issue mounting the rain gear where I needed more room for the fuse panel and hydraulic clutch linkages. Called rain gear and they advices me that the wiper motor on the bracket could be clocked in a second position. At the moment I can’t remember what position it put it in. But if interested I can share pictures.
If you need the door sills, I have some for this car. The company that I bought mine from sent me the wrong ones and ended up letting me keep them. I’m happy to sell them to you at a fair price if you like.
A lot or reproduction parts are garbage, or just not meant to be used. I just broke my second wiper switch. Ordered an NOS one to replace it with. Hopefully I will be able to get it to activate the windshield washer.

I looked into the Raingear wiper set up until I realized I needed to relocate fuse box and wiring then remove bracing to make it work.
