You've gotta pay to play. Glad you folks are in a position through your hard work to be able to do this. EPIC!!! Thanks for taking us along for the ride. Much appreciated!
Max is as fortunate to have us behind him as we are to have him as a Son. At 15 years of age he has already been working in our warehouse for about 3 years now. Hard work pays off. Thank you for watching and we are excited to be out there. - Van
Love all of these videos, watching you build the 400 track bike has helped me a ton with my own 400 build! Are the forks that got scored the ones from the k-tech install video?
Yes they are but that install was done basically 2 seasons ago. The issue arose after a rebuild where I had to replace the sliders on the forks. I should have used OEM sliders for this application. - Van
Looking forward to this series. As a racing Dad I can relate to this 100%. Good luck Max. How does Moto America solve the parity issue in the 300 class?
There are rules to help balance the bikes in the class. An example of that is the restrictor plate and reduced rev limiter we have to run on the Ninja 400. At this point there is pretty much only 1 Yamaha R3 with all the rest of the bikes being Ninja 400's. - Van
If you had to pick 5 modifications to make to a small displacement bike such as a 250 300 Etc to do track days on a small technical track what would they be?
Suspension is a must if you want to ride fast. You will also need race pads and stainless steel brake lines. Chain and sprockets so you can tune the gearing. Race bodywork. - Van
Hey Brian. Long time fan. Been watching you from the beginning. I am about to do front brakes on my 08zx6r. What pads do you recommend and should I replaced rotors as well? And should I do rear with the fronts?
Appreciate the kind words. If you are not having any issues with braking and just need to replace the pads due to wear there is no reason to replace the rotors. There are several options for pads based on the type of riding you plan to do. Shoot me an email to service@sportbiketrackgear.com detailing the type of riding you plan to do and I can make a recommendation for you. - Van
Man do I wish that was the case. All of the racers you see on the grid are riding on equipment they or their team has supplied. Most of the SportbikeTrackGear.com Junior Cup Racers are there competing on bikes their parents have paid for. - Van
Love this. Max is one fortunate young man, having such a father.
Appreciate the kind words! - Van

We are blessed to have the support of our customers behind us. End of the day that is what makes this possible. - Van
Does anyone else like the video before even watching it? Simply because it's STG goodness!
Appreciate you! - Van

Appreciated all the DIY help and walk-alongs for ninja 400. . sometimes felt more therapy tweaking the bike than when riding.
You are welcome. I have always enjoyed wrenching on the bikes. That is a good thing because now I do more wrenching than riding. - Van
Good luck this year! I also have a 14 year old on a N400. We enjoy your RUclips content. Keep it coming
Thank you, we are excited for the season to start. - Van

Lucky kid to be able to have you help him and spec up those bikes, some serious cash you've splashed there! Good luck to you both 👍

Great series. What’s the advantage of the rear brake reservoir delete?
Minor weight savings and more flexible routing of the hose when the rearsets are at the most extreme position. - Van
Sounds good man. Hope ya can put up videos of the new trailer man be good to see how you kit it out. Stay safe 👍🏻
We plan to cover that project for sure. Hope to get started in the next couple of weeks. - Van

I thought they provide the bike in moto America do they not????

Are you guys gonna market those shirts or what?
They are being made as we speak. Should be here in a couple weeks. Once we have them they will be on the site. - Van
Loving this kind of content. I can't wait to see more of it! Thanks for posting.

A stock Ninja 400 is powerful but if you make a RC or R3 as fast as Ninja that would be some achievement
The Ninja 400 is a great bike IMO. An excellent balance of power and handling. - Van
🤝👌🏽😀

Looks like the 'Old Man' won't be doing any riding for a good while!
That is an unfortunate truth for sure. I do hope to spin a few laps this year at a few track days. - Van
