thank you for picking up my question and making a video with it so fast! It really will help me a lot on future projects and I am really happy about your preferred method choice since it does not require to purchase a bunch of different products. I already used Gum Trac for the edges and of course, I do have dyes 🤪, the empty bottles are already in my basket at Maker’s. Great to mention the reverse threat in your Video since a lot of the reviews on the Maker’s Supply web page, struggled with opening those bottles!
Talked to a guy in my town that has his own leather business and said that all you have to do to your edges is use a black maker, beeswax and a piece of burlap sack piece. And it will do the same thing. And want cost as much to do . And looks just as good.
It fades as the dye fades. It doesn't fade abnormally fast. It works great… and I wouldn't worry about it turning blue-ish or purple-ish. To be honest, it works great! If you put some tokonole over it… it keeps a dark black finish second to none. In my opinion… it works great!
Helpful, thank you! I really like the natural look of the Edge Kote, the best.

Helpful. Thank you
Do you know if the Edge Kote product is thin enough to use effectively in one of those refillable markers?
Muchas gracias 👍
If you paint the edges with a black Sharpie, does the color gets too faded with time or kinda blueish? Or normally this is ok?

@@p4our587 thanks bro!
@@juliojodar9893 no problemo!
Have you ever tried the sharpie pen with the gum tragacanth?
Question: Why are you not burning your dodder first before using?
I never have before. Does that help get the fuzzies away or is there another purpose?
You all still offer a beginner tooling kit?
Yes, we are just out of stock right now.
Beguines tooling kit ?
Thanks
