If you get too close, they think you are a friend :) Especially pantsirs who set the radar scanning distance to 50 km do not even see me.
I’ve never seen anyone in my 1500+ hour of war thunder just sit at 800m above the battlefield in a heli. And get 8kills and just ignore AA.
@@Daemon9000 I main Russia AA, when I am in the panstir I have my radar set to 30k and check for the friend or foe markers. Do people really not pay attention to those?

Do you know if chaffs actually do anything against top tier SPAA? does it even break their lock at all, so they're forced to manually aim at you?
Mostly it doesn't work but sometimes it breaks the lock and they are manually aiming at you.
@@Daemon9000 it breaks pantsir lock making it hard for him to guide as well its just all chaff on his screen
Chaffs are pretty useless, from what I know. I saw test and used by myself, it didn't NOTHING. So I prefer standard flares that will be x2 more without chaffs
