Ahhh, more cliffhangers lol. Actually, I believe it will solve your problem. I had the same issue, but I felt it more in the steering wheel. I took to my wheel guy and found one wheel was bent. He was able to straighten it out. Vibration went away. Hope yours will be fixed finally. I imagine the rugged terrain where you live caused that wheel to bend. Can’t wait to see results.
Iv been chasing a front passenger side vibration that feels as if my wheel is football shaped even at low speed 10-15 I never went above 25 as it got pretty bad at 20mph. I did the front axles (1999 Impreza wagon 5spd) and noticed that the front passenger side tire was flat. Just hit me that maybe the wheel was bent pretty badly on a drive (I got the car from a friend and is super low with -8 degree of camber all around I hate it) hoping it’s just a bent wheel causing it instead of having to trouble shoot bushings and other suspension components
You could put the car up on a javck and put a straight edge along the wheels outer rim (I use my battery powered drill) you could turn the wheel slowly to see if the wheel is bent. What youre describing sounds pretty extreme. Lemme know!
You know .... they say if you mount the wheel to the car and tighten the lug nuts down onto the wheel, you will void the warranty and not be able to return them IF the are bent or warped. They say you are supposed to take the wheels to a tire shop to be mounted on the balance machine and have them spin the wheel to check for round or warpage ...
I have a 2015 Buick LaCrosse and had the same problem. I kept going to the mechanic and insisting I had a bad Axl. Each time I went to the mechanic they balanced my tires. After about 3 or 4 times going back to the mechanic they told me I needed new rims. I bought all 4 new rims and my vibration was gone.
It doesn’t take much bend to cause a vibration. And the ATS is very sensitive to anything that isn’t perfect. Light suspension. Light car. Very low profile tires. It feels every thing. I have 4 new rims. 4 new tires. Road forced balanced. It’s smooth as glass.
Thanks for the heads up! I have the same vibration issue. Also leveling system issue today. Do you know anything about that? I have an XTS 2014. Have about 8 months on the warranty.
@@melissaitschner3563 I’d get it checked by a reputable shop using road force balance. But it could be a bad tire or rim. Vibration problems are terribly annoying. No idea on the leveling issue. If it’s covered by warranty get that to the dealer asap! 👍 it’s possible the vibration is related.
If there is the slightest bit of damage, send them back at their expense. I'm so sick of receiving damaged goods from companies or due to horrible handling by FedEx or UPS.
It is a pain. Since there was no dent and the fact that I could clean it up very easily versus the time it would take to get another one... I decided to keep it. Now that its on the car it looks amazing. But yes... I feel your frustration.
I’ve been having a similar situation on my 13 ctsv. Seems like it’s a wheel but they have been balanced. But….both wheels have been repaired and are not 100 percent perfect. Vibration at 75-80 and up mph. Thinking it’s my wheels
Mine turned out to be a loose rear diff (improperly installed by dealer) and poorly balanced tires. Its tough chasing vibration, but try rotating your wheels to see if the vibration moves to a different corner of the car. If it does, then you know its wheel.
I have the same issue. I have 2019 Pilot and I’ve done road force balanced and everything and I still get slight vibration at 55-60mph. After rebalanced it went away but it’s back again Kind of random.
@@Kanti12311 the other thing could be a damaged tire. As you are aware, diagnosing vibrations can be very frustrating. I guess it’s possible you threw a wheel weight after your recent balance. Try brining it back to the shop and explain that it was better but now vibrating again. Most places will check the balance for free.
It’s hard to find a wheel I like that fits this car AND is in my budget. I like these wheels. And if I called about the scratch what would I accomplish? Maybe replace it and wait another 2-3 weeks to get the new one? If it was bent, yet, but I’m going to touch it up and live with it. No one will ever notice it. I have centering rings! They work great. Will use them on this one as well 😎💪
@@sstressfl I think they look good. But I would let the company know, course it didn’t look like it happened in shipping. Maybe a few $$ back. I’m glad I’m the end, they worked out for you. ✌️
You better keep us updated. I'm loosing sleep over this. Joking. Joking. Calm down. I don't want any trouble.
Just for that you can’t watch the next one 🤪
Those are some good looking wheels, that's for sure! Can't wait to see them mounted, keep us posted with the results!
Will do!! 👍
Good luck man!! Just in time for the nice weather hope u get to start enjoying the cadillac 😎
Wow, the video just posted!
I can't recall, do you use hub centric rings with your old wheels? The bore is roughly 1/8 bigger on the aftermarket wheels.
I made my own 👍 it’s only .012” gap!

That drill trick is slick. I was using a long pick stuck in a cardboard box.
It worked pretty well 😀
Hey. Just wondering if changing the rims helped? Thank you
The new rear diff was loose!! Never installed correctly. Then later it started to leak. Poor quality parts and service.

Occasionally a low tire. 🤔😩

I still have it. Less but still there. I think I'm gonna go after the mid bearing on the driveshaft next.

My dad had a similar issue on his grand caravan. Turned out it was a slightly bent wheel from accidentally hitting a curb.
@@sstressfl I never hit any curve maybe some pot holes.

Why did you order the same ones? And I would of called about the damage. No centering rings again? Good luck 🍀 ✌️
