Me and karen moved into the new house and it was completely empty so our first piece of furniture is a DIY pallet couch that was easy to make (i guess?) in this video you will see us making the DIY pillows for the couch getting and working on the pallets and then painting them and eventually assembling the couch . share and subscribe if you liked this video and please comment what you think :) total cost of the DIY pallet Couch was 70$ in cuenca ecuador.

I am so grateful that you shared this! I don't want to spend $1k+ on a sectional sofa and this is perfect for my living area. Heck Im gonna make two ...one for the living room and another smaller version for under the loft bed in the boys' room. I shall share my results with you!

The fabric will stretch over time, so I would have used a staple gun to fix the fabric and foam to a wooden backing frame, stretching the fabric every 2 inches and securing with a staple. (See RUclips upholstery videos.)

here in Germany making furniture from pallets has been a huge trend the past years (and still is) so much that the pallets got really expensive... Sometimes they are more expensive than just buying regular furniture.

A good way to do upholstery is to use a staple gun... It is easier than using a hot glue gun, and if you want a better base put a piece of wood under the cushion.

+Slava and Karen I do! not to promote my stuff but I have a great video on using pallets to make an end table. you could scale it to your needs and it would be awesome!!! I have found that using pallets for structural needs is a little hard to do. try using 2x4 and ply to build a shell and wrap it in pallet wood. good luck! can't wait to see it! -Zach

That's what I'll do for my balcony next summer. I could get the pallets for free in my city and perhaps get the cushions from the nearest thrift shop.

Hey that's cool what you done you make some furniture that is really nice I like it I just want to say to you the bottom like on the floor part you can put a panel and cover it with wood all way around and it would look like it's just a big white panel there try it

Thank you for the great idea, i would just glue the pallets together so it won't move side to side. But you could make it into a bed as well which is dope.

Msybe you could of used twin mattresses. And euro shams. More costly but would be great for guests pushed together it's a king size bed.

not entirely sure. Wouldnt recommend having these in your house for years. we left this house but the couch is still there and i can imagine that its probably starting to rot the floor :( we should probably do something about it.
