Hey Zoe, why don't you come to SCAD -Atlanta!!! We won't would love to have you!! They are interviewing now for several professors. Atlanta is a cool city. A lot of development.
Hey Zoe!! Great vid!!! And I am literally in love with those knee-high croc boots!!!!! Totally unrelated question, but hope you wouldn't mind answering anyway: I've been seeing a lot of runways from the final collections of college students (from a few different colleges) and I've noticed that 90% of all of the designs are more avant-garde side of fashion. In your Old Sketches video, I did see a few avant-garde pieces, so I guess my question is: In fashion school, do they make you do more avant-garde stuff than technical and/or RTW pieces? Or is it a matter of what the student is good at/where the student's interests lie? (I'm asking cuz I'm not really an avant-garde person, I have trouble understanding it sometimes, so my aesthetic gravitates more towards the RTW ballgown-y side of fashion, so is that gonna be a problem for me in fashion school?)
I have not tried to control it, but i guess you can control it if adding water with a brush to certain areas and not spraying it on? I think it would be worth a try.
Zoe, or people that is familiar with markers. Which side of the layout paper is meant to be used? The more textured or the waxy/smooth one? Great video as usual
I've seen layout bond before, I haven't used it before, but my students use it sometimes for other classes. I thought it was for just planning rough drafts.

The little bumps or dark spots at the bottom of the scale(tile) are actually hair follicles.
Cool! I'm obsessed with leather. Please tell me all the leather things.
Zoe Hong I'd be happy too whatcha want to know? I worked with everything...except bonded leather.

Greetings to the Philippines and thanks!
This was so helpful! Although I don’t plan to use this for fashion, it will come in handy for drawing detailed dinosaur and dragon drawings.

That sounds great, but I'm only interested in short term teaching gigs right now. Week long workshops, that sort of thing.
Can you do the snake print as well! Please
can you do a video on fashion poses? like, examples of good ones in different styles & how to draw them
I have a whole playlist on fashion figures.
I just used the snake grey printed leather to make a necklace and matching earings this morning, and now its back to haunt me
could you teach on how to illustrate velvet in color pencils or watercolor? i havent seen any tutorial about that😊
It's in the queue for sometime this summer.
I'm still waiting for someone to comment asking how do you know when it's exactly 726% dry... :))
When it looks less than 727%, more than 725%. Obvi.

1. You worry too much.
2. It depends on the school.
Zoe Hong lolololol Guilty!!!
I'll ask the school I'm planning to go to about it!!
Thanks so much Zoe!! Really appreciate your help!!
Hey Zoe ! Can you please teach how to illustrate embroidery .!!!
Go check my Illustrating Embellishments playlist.
Love your video. What the name of your color pencil? Will it fade after drawing on the bag for a period of time?
Where would you get that fabric from?
Hello Zoe!! Nice video :). I was thinking if this effect could been done with watercolor masking fluid on the lightest areas?. Greeting from Peru
Thanks! I don't know, I've never worked with masking fluid. Have you? Do you like it? Greetings to Peru!
Well I've made some sketches using it, I'm going to try using it on alligator rendering. I'll let you know how it turns out
Yes, I want to see!
your bag looks like a portraits
What comes to my mind watching this is that i think "distressed ink" by Tim Holtz would be perfect for rendering the base colour. Any thoughts?
I did a quick google image search on that because I've never heard of it. Can you control the direction of the crackles? Could be cool if you could.
I have not tried to control it, but i guess you can control it if adding water with a brush to certain areas and not spraying it on? I think it would be worth a try.

I don't know what 'blending paper' is. Can someone else help?
Oops, sorry. I meant blending cards or layout paper.
