Blake thank you for sharing the issues and corrections needed to fit the concaves. Absolutely love the concaves, the tyre sizes probably would need changed but if your adding a flare kit you should be alright.

Love the profile 3's man. Wish i jumped on the gb last year. But picked up a set of profile ones for $1200 with 700 miles on Yokohama advan neova's. 215/45 front, 235/45 rear. The steering rack stops? Where can i get some? I actually rub on the frame in the front at full lock. Maybe a spacer is needed.
Those wheels do look great. How is the spoke clearance between the disk face and the inside of the spokes? I'm hunting for a set of wheels that will suit the 60mm clearance of the FC RX7 4 pot calipers I just brought for my e30 track car.

isnt the overall height of the wheels+tires much bigger now? itll accelerate different as well as change the overall speed in which the car moves. at "60mph" itll be going a little faster and such. maybe a different aspect ratio?
This is a bad fit. If you have to do any mods to the car other than spacers just to fit a wheel tire combo you just plain have the wrong combination. Work with a shop that will machine your rim's hub to the correct offset and give you the back spacing, brake clearance and fender clearance you need. You can't just choose the "meats" that give you the look you want. The car ultimately decides what it can accommodate.
Honestly think I would change tyres to keep the stock rolling diameter - makes fitting them a whole lot easier at the expense of doing diff ratio (if you really feel the need!)
Hello I reached out to Apex for some arc wheels for my 87 e28. The salesman said they do not carry anything that will fit my car. He says l will need a special offset, does that sound correct? Or can you recommend anything else. Thanks
I think he’s just mostly saying that they don’t have a confirmed offset for particular set of wheels if you find out what other people are running as far as ET and wheel size and width I’m sure you can make something work maybe with some spacers but basically they’re saying it’s not a direct fitment
Find the POV to be fine but only when moments are kept to a minimum. Would really like to see some side skirts and a rear valance/diffuser to complete the look. Great job Blake!
AC is a must... unless you’re towing the racecar. Haha! Yea 255’s rub eve in mine. But I feel I like the 235’s on the 9” width wheels. Livelier handling. Car is looking badass with the arc-8’s 😎
@@BlakesGarage exactly.. If you are on track a lighter skinnier wheel is best for turning quicker and its lighter. Fat tires upfront are best for road racing and fat wheels in rear are best for drag racing. You will have more response because it grips less
