The only other similar thing I can think of is Death and the healing by Wintersun, but it's not quite like it. Insomnium is freaking amazing.

I'm kind of anti-AI, in general. But the song was really good. Not just brutal. It had a lot of interesting melodies and change-ups to make it a solid piece.
Yea, I struggle with the whole AI thing. I think its a cool tool but ya its being alot. But agreed, this song was pretty refreshing. I loved all the melodies thru out.

Loved the instrumentals, and the vocals were far enough in the background that they were OK. The video was a bit hard to take for me. I kept saying to myself "Don't kill the dogs! Don't kill the dogs!" I'm glad it is in the morning that I am watching this. If I watched it in the evening, I don't think I'd be able to sleep.
It's crazy, it's actually a really good throwback to some of their earlier stuff - like specifically 3rd album style, but with an amazing mix of new stuff. You can definitely hear the influence of a few other bands on this track.

This left me cold, when the growling is the only vocal it does nothing for me, the video wasn't bad but the extremely low budget showed. The nonvocal part was okay but no more than that. I will still check out whatever you put up, but I can't follow you here.
