Building a Beaver Dam Analogue

In 2023, the BC Wildlife Federation travelled to Washington to attend a workshop hosted by the Methow Beaver Project on Beaver-Based Conservation and Restoration. The team gained hands-on experience with beaver restoration, relocation and coexistence strategies.
In this video, the team is building a beaver dam analogue using untreated wood posts and locally sourced vegetation for training purposes.
