BCWF's 2023 Columbia Valley Initiatives: Wetland Restoration & Indigenous Youth Training

The B.C. Wildlife Federation, along with its partners and the support of local communities, has undertaken projects that not only rejuvenate natural habitats but also weave modern conservation methods with Indigenous knowledge and practices alongside First Nations and Indigenous communities. This includes collaborating with the 2023 Shuswap Youth Conservation Camp, and their ongoing work with the Sun Creek Wetland Restoration project in Canal Flats.
