Ah man, the memories...every other Friday night after work heading on down to the Ottways NP, hiking in from Lorne for acouple of days of bushwaking, nature and photography...still never found a darker place at night than a rain forest after sundown. Awesome fucking video mate and one close to me heart. Respect.
Beautiful spot Chris you have to love a good Rainforest I know I do and I've been fortunate enough to see many of them over the years up and down the east coast of our beautiful Country, Tropical ,Sub Tropical and Temperate Rainforests ,and you're right when you say they are dark and mysterious and sometimes eerie but always beautiful.
We’ve all heard of the “rainforest meets the sea” but now we have “the rainforest meets the world’s largest chicken kebab!” What a change of scenery, stunning fungi, epiphytic ferns and even a few orchids.

What I'm fascinated is that we did the same things being on each other side of the world, I follow you in all your videos and fall in love with how much the human being is the same, even though we are so far away we like that we did the same things. Chris, great video despite any fishing... lol. Having spent time in humid areas like that myself. What do you use to deter mosquitoes and other like minded bugs in that type of terrain (or any of that matter?)

Warm and damp adventure glad the bugs weren't too bad. Today in Northern Ontario, Canada, the windshield warning is for, wait for it...-40c to -45c. Time to freeze dry food outside. 🤪
