I am so glad I came across your channel. I love historical fiction and I have read many of the books you presented. Yes, save The Frozen River for the winter time. I read it in January and loved it!! I also loved The Nightingale. I am planning to read the Four Winds in November I think. Have you tried Amy Harmon or Susan Meissner? I really enjoy their historical fiction. WW2 books are my favorite too. I haven't read a Quinn book yet, but the Code book sounds interesting.
Don’t know where I’ve been, had no idea you loved historical fiction as much as I do. 🤣. Love Kristin Hannah, I always need tissues. The Dust Bowl wasn’t really taught. I think I’m going to add her to my list of authors to read to zero in 2025. The Women was outstanding and a much needed book. Love your earrings and sweater, so you. I love Lynn Austin’s books too. My favorite author in Christian Historical Fiction is probably the Thoene’s.
Hidden Places by Lynn Austin The Murmur of Bees by Sofía Segovia ( there are some trigger warnings & it's a sad read, but so good ) The Lost Castle by Kristy Cambron
For Dust Bowl literature, you're going to want to read The Grapes of Wrath (though I prefer Steinbeck's East of Eden, which is one of my fave books and he's one of my fave authors - tip: skip Tortilla Flats, it's a weak version of Cannery Row).
I realize that Night, is Historical Nonfiction/memoir. Still a good one to read, still history! ♥️
I can’t wait for you to read more middle grade historical fiction! ☺️
@@ABookLikeYou I know! :)
Loved The Nightingale and The Four Winds! I have Home Front and The Women and can’t wait to read those! 🩷
@@bethanysbookshelf they are amazing! ♥️

Just a note, Night is Elie Wiesel's memoir, not historical fiction.
Have you read The Book of Lost Names by Kristin Harmel?
