    I think what people miss about kwahi is the overall effect that he has on the game. To me, to be star u must effect the game on both end of the court. Just look at the kind of plays he makes....game changing plays. It's not about him stopping a great player(no one can do that) but about making more winning plays. This kid has what it takes.

    For so many years I hated on the Spurs being a Lakers fan. I called them boring a bunch of floppers. Obviously I was wrong they are what the NBA and team basketball should be all about. They're unselfish they play hard. You never really hear about them getting in trouble in the off-season. None of them complain about minutes, you saw Pop put. Ginobili back on the bench when he was about to be subbed in you heard no complaints because he knows what's best for the team. This team has no egos they don't care about individual attention they just play the game, and Kawhi Leonard is becoming one of my favorites great all around player he doesn't talk trash or whine to the refs. I hope he continues to excel. Good job Greg Poppovich and the whole Spurs organization for making and keeping this team a winning franchise

      i also really dislike the spurs for years( since d rob times even though i admired him as one of the greatest centers we have seen), up until 2012 or so when they have become more offensively entertaining ( not that i have not acknowledged the fact that parker and manu had been brilliant through the years that i dislike the spurs). and obviously with the addition of leonard it is a really fun team to watch in all aspect of the game. this season will be a real test for him as the big 3 are definitely aging ( still great but might break under playoff pressure) and now they are in the lower playoff spot and it will be tough to climb considers how strong the west coast is. but i honestly havent been so excited about nba since the early- mid 2000s kings, as now i finally have a team to root for after all these years.

    • @nickyvtown
      @nickyvtown 9 лет назад

      Yeah there are a lot of contenders but every year we think the Spurs are getting old and then they end up with the best record in the league but the Golden State Warriors are going to be a tough team to beat in the West

    • @popeyeisgood
      @popeyeisgood 9 лет назад

      nick armijo true, they are playing great. but the spurs were one of the few teams that beat them this season. i do look forward for a healthy spurs to dominate the league in the second half of this season.

    Kawhi is such a mature player he doesn't even get mad at the refs when they call a foul unlike lebron , and leonard also never talks to the other players , what a nice guy , and he is also a great improving player

      One of my favorite things about Patty is his defense. Not because he's an elite defender, that's impossible at his size (he's actually about 5'9 without shoes), but he defends with infinite energy, he makes the hustle plays, he gets into the lane and sacrifices his body taking charges. He's the kind of guy that will do whatever the team needs him to do, and always gives it everything he has. :D

    I think the reason why Birdman was laughing after that foul against Kawhi's dunk was because he thought it was retribution for being dunked on in game 3. Too bad Birdman got stripped and dunked on by Kawhi in the last game.

    also look at the play at 4:10. lebron is clearly lack of fundamental. see how he pumps the ball off the ground and try to get up for a easy basket, but he did it so softly with no awareness of using his back to at least lean on duncan or manu( i am sure lebron knew manu was behind him). imagine in the same situation, instead of lebron it were barkley, he would have pumped hard, jump right into duncan with his back and ass and adjust in the air to dodge the block from ginoboli.

    @ 0:22 can someone please explain to me wtf lebron was doing hanging back on defense like that? Diaw gets the ball starts taking the ball down the court and lebron seems to go backwards and hang back, wtf? and the leonard putback was weird also, leonard was his guy and he just leaves leonard alone and stands behind bosh and watches kawhi with the putback, no attempt to box him out or anything. Its like lebron goes from the best player in the world to having no idea how to play basketball. weird man

      It's called fatigue. When the Spurs use up the full 24 second clock and hit a bucket the defense are extremely tired from chasing the basketball and open shooters, etc. They also wear you down in the paint like what they did to Kevin Durant in that series.

      +william jackson spurs made them play the way they played. They made the heat played under pressure for all 5 games and when pressure is constantly applied it bursts the pipes and takes all the energy away from the players. Learn to give the credit where the credit is due instead of jut saying the series was rigged.

    • @MrAwesomeMatty
      @MrAwesomeMatty 8 лет назад +2

      william jackson No, it was not rigged. I'm tired of seeing bandwagon fans not having enough dignity to admit that their team was trumped and to take a loss with good sportsmanship. The San Antonio Spurs trained their asses off to reclaim their honor that was gone from the previous finals and to work hard to become the champions; they deserve recognition for how they dominated the majority of the games with their selflessness teamwork. Just because your favorite team loses, doesn't automatically mean you can pull the "NBA IS RIGGED" excuse to cover them. The Heat are humans beings and they're not gonna be perfect every game. So, please, do what Joy above here said and learn to give credit where credit is due.
