I love how articulate, intelligent, and experienced you both are in this. This thought process crosses over into so many other water based sport set ups.

Would have been great if he actually did the installs in the video. Most of us are doing the installs ourselves and whilst simple for people who have done them a bunch there's obviously a bunch of tips and tricks that would be good to see. i.e. how is the emergency second lanyard actually fixed?

Time restrictions. I can barely get people to watch a 30min video let alone a two hour one.

I’m really wanting to get into big wave jetski rescue for a a good few years. No one ever gets back to me. I’m based in ireland.
My question about the ‘key’ is I’ve always connected it to my jacket.
So if someone I was potentially rescuing did grab my left arm or wrist it wouldn’t be a problem.
I’ve zero experience so obviously I’m missing something. Would love to hear from one of you experienced guys on this.

Nice vídeo. Which machine do you consider the best for tow?
    Yamaha or seadoo and why?
    Thx

Yamahas don't have gelcoat, they use automotive paint, hence why the paint is rubbing off. Only Kawi uses gelcoat.

What brand of traction mat did you use for those pads on the gunwale sides?

Hey Mark, just wondering how this video aged for you after having the ski for a bit. Would you still buy the non supercharged again? Cheers

What year is that Yamaha? My 2018 three-up seat is not flat like yours...really pronounced saddles that make it difficult to move around on and I hate it. Using it for offshore fishing.

Great video! Btw what’s the rough cost breakdown for the various parts and mods you did?

Good question. As with everything else, prices have gone way up. New ski, trailer, mods and upgrades around probably going to run mid to low $30k range. In Hawaii we have the extra cost of shipping.

@@strikemissions Mr. Healy, I look up to men like you and the life you have built and live for yourself. I’m not sure where you stand in regards to faith, but with the line of work you are currently in I wanted to take the time to say may God bless yourself and your family. Safe journeys.

We all should be discouraging people from doing tow ins . However, I believe they are practical for diving and fishing.

Unbelivable that no personal watercraft manufacturer has @StrikeMissions on their team, promoting, doing product testing and R&D for them! @yamahawatercraftusa @Seadoo, if you sponsor #markhealey I'll pay full retail for a new WaveRunner or SeaDoo the next day. Thanks for this post, Mark! This answered a lot of questions I had about outfitting a watercraft for surf and spear use.
