I got a cornwell pass through set over 10 years ago. Its not 1/4 drive size its 3/8 drive size, i dont use them often but when i do its the only thing that will work. Great for shocks when the piston turns and the nut doesnt loosen so you can put your allen or whatever thru to hold the piston while you turn the nut. Especially real ones in a deck lid or something where is recessed so a wrench wont work. Its gearless as well. Awesome set

The haters probably have a set of ratcheting combination wrenches. Not long ago people thought those were a gimmick.

This is the bottom line without the stupidity of haters is this every tool has its place and it’s purpose if it didn’t they wouldn’t have invented it. That’s it that’s all.

I used my Gearwrench 3/8 Pass-Thru flex head ratchet where I NEEDED both flex and pass through!
A shallow wouldn't work (because of a long bolt); a deep socket wouldn't work (because of space limitations); my Mountain wrenches wouldn't work for two reasons (11mm being one); a combination wouldn't work (because I had no straight shot)...but the Flex head Pass-thru solved all my problems!

I know this doesn’t apply to the tool your demonstrating but have you made a special safety wire tool? On a uh60 I’ve cut a bent rig spin and use it for tough to reach safety wire applications. I cut a v toward the end of the pin and drilled 2 holes at .032 so I can safety wire things easily.

Has anyone got same loose flex head in 3/8 gearwrench pass through set? Flex head locks on every teeth, but wobbles in every direction, is it how it should be?

Wait. You have 3/8 ratchet wrenches compared to the 1/4" pass through gearwrench. Why not have a 1/4" ratchet?

Problem with these sockets is no one makes an organizer (socket rail) for them.
The blow molded cases are only useful for marketing displays.

I have some of them in an olsa tools magnet holder. It works good but you’ll have to write the sizes on the outside

I know this is an old video, but how is the back drag? I’m really considering buying this and there are like two videos on RUclips showing these.
