Great video. I've casually tried to emulate Amiga in the past and always found it confusing and complex. This video just made things so simple and easy to set up. Thanks man!
Excellent video. Short and sweet. There are other ways to emulate the Amiga, but I find FS-UAE less troublesome than using RocketLauncher or WinUae. Cheers from America! About an hour ago I purchased a copy of Amiga Forever 9 Plus edition and the A3000 finally worked. I put FS-UAE along with all of my WHDoad games directly into LaunchBox.
Amazing video. I had seen other descriptions about how to make this emulator work but they were quite confusing. Yours is very, very clear... step by step... and I have been able to make it work fine. Thanks a lot for your help!
Confused with the part at importing kickstart roms. Is it just normal roms? It doesn't seem to load the roms I have. Oh I need kickstart files for the Amiga models I want to use.
One thing I really dislike about FS-UAE is you can't seem to change important video, mouse or audio settings and apply these while the game is running. For example enabling scanlines, changing mouse speed, changing drive volume etc (You can easily do this in WinUAE via the F12 menu IIRC) . If I have missed how to do this I would love to know. Also, the FS Launcher is absolutely no more user friendly than WinUAE. It mistakenly seems to think hiding important options/settings from the main screen making you continually have to hunt for them is user friendly. Just some corrections: You do not need to download any Kickstart rom. The game comes with a default ROM that lets you play A500 games at least. You do not need to create an account or register. If you have amiga game files you can simply select them in each needed drive.
