- Hi everyone! I'm back with another pregnancy update. I promise they will level out soon! I actually didn't film a 7 week pregnancy update, because I was so sick! Morning sickness (or all day sickness in my case) is not fun. So this is my 8 week pregnancy update. I hope you are all doing well. And a big squish to all of my bump buddies too! xx

WHO AM I?
I'm Charlotte.
I'm 28, love carbs, rubbish 90's music, Prosecco and baths without finding a bath toy stuck under my bum.
I have a little boy called Bill (born June 2012) and a little girl called Daisy (born April 2016).
I am, very recently, a full-time vlogger and blogger (the stuff dreams are made of), but I am also a trained journalist, former magazine editor, and content lead.
I'm also part of Channel Mum - which is really worth checking out if you're a mama like me and want to find videos to make you laugh, cry, nod, or get advice. / channelmum
I was a single mum, just me and Bill. But then I had a bit of a fairytale moment when I met Mark (he's a bit lovely) and things are better than I could have hoped for now. Daisy was born with Stickler Syndrome, and a cleft palate like me. Her start has been rocky but she'll be fine. She's got a family who adore her after all.
I know that all mums are different in their own way, but I hope you enjoy seeing snippets of my life, all the same.

I'll be 8 weeks when I go for my scan at the end of the month, but between 6-7 weeks now :) and I feel EXACTLY the same, allll day nausea that doesn't quit
I had HG when I was pregnant and I honestly had to force myself to eat and drink for the full pregnancy, it was absolutely horrific. I'd be sick just from seeing food on tv adverts. I hope you're feeling better now that you're further on than you were when you filmed this xx
Congrats, I am very happy for you. I'm 38w 6d pregnant. Although I will have had my baby by the end of this month, I look forward to seeing your pregnancy progress and look forward to future updates.
Hi I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant and love watching your videos I find them very helpful and interesting. I'm struggling with nausea but at same time love it as I know baby is ok lol.

i honestly feel so lucky- i am 8w1d and no morning sickness but i am crying all the time over the tiniest things and so bloody tired. Cant wait to start showing, I just feel heavier and chunkier in my mid section.
I am 8+3 right now and I can completely relate with everything. You just can't seem to feel good enough to do anything. If it's not the nausea, it's the fatigue, or the lower back Pain, or pain in the lower abdomen. It gets harder to just make an effort to look decent, and when u do, ur so bushed u just wan sleep lol. But I wouldn't trade it for anything because I feel so blessed... Even though I wan puke... Lol, thank you for sharing... I don't feel so alone with my symptoms now.

Yes! I'm 7.5wks & it's so strange- the hunger comes on very suddenly, & when it does, I'm instantly RAVENOUS! My husband doesn't know what to make of it! 🤭

I love your videos! I'm 8 weeks and 4 days with my first baby. I sometimes feel a bit anxious not being able to see my baby grow but when I watch you I just feel positive vibes and you've really help to calm the nerves ❣️
I think your belly is lovely! 😄 I am only 7.5wks & I feel like I swallowed a beach ball- I am SO BLOATED. I am really looking forward to 2nd trimester because I'm constantly tired & nauseous as well- so it'll be nice to start feeling better!

Is it weird I'll be sad when you get up to date and we won't be having a new pregnancy video every day or two!
Haha, love watching these 🙂 we're still talking about whether to have a 3rd or not. My two are nearly 4 and 18 months. I just can't imagine not being pregnant ever again.
Know what you mean about knowing everyone, my village is exactly the same! Yes to beige food meaning a boy, With my son I just wanted cheesy mash potato, and with my daughter I was all about the haribo 😆

Bump buddy here :) with number 3 and snap on the unexpectedness factor! I'm about 4 weeks behind you I think. Feeling sick allllll day too. Nice to hear someone in the same shoes. We are yet to tell the world xx
I have to say seeing someone else gag at the thought of food is really comforting, I'm right there 😂 I'm sure the morning sickness is worse with this one!

Hope the sickness eases soon - my first two I didn't
Have any sickness but my third who is 6 months old - I started feeling sick on my honeymoon and to cut a long story short I had HG hypermesis gravidarum and was bed bound for 16 weeks and hospitalised with severe dehydration 7 times and was on 9 sickness tablets a day - I lost 4 stone and was sick for 9 months hell on earth x

Watched you through my daughter’s pregnancy and the birth (January 2021) now she is pregnant again as she is 41 years old.
Found your channel a few weeks ago I’m currently 6 weeks 6 days. Second baby I also have a daughter called daisy but she’s 10 so a big age gap feels so new all again! I have my first midwife appointment next Wednesday and a scan next friday.

This brought back so many memories of the first trimester! 🙈 id forgotten about the gag thing, I used to gag so easily even talking about things. Hated chicken too!
Eilidh Wells wow the first person who had my same symptoms. I hated chicken... I didn’t even want to see a chicken box nothing. I couldn’t eat chicken for a year after my son. And even then it had to only be fried chicken breast. Until this day I don’t eat thighs. I just started eating legs after 13 years. Lol....
I am 8 weeks 2 days and i hate chicken cant stand the smell either
My nausea very similar to you. I only eat beige food now. My last pregnancy there were foods I avoided and foods that tasted amazing. This time every tastes bleuch but I can tolerate it if it's beige, just about. I'm not getting sick but lost about 5lbs already from lack of appetite and I'm only 7weeks +3 days. It got better at 12 weeks last time so I'm hanging in there for the 2nd trimester. Ginger tea is a help.
+Orla Hayes Oh bless you Orla. I have my fingers crossed for you. I'm nearly 14 weeks now and I don't feel 100% yet. I remember with Daisy that it was around 17-18 weeks. But it's definitely improved. Do you have a little boy or a little girl already? This pregnancy sounds different to me! xx
Charlotte Louise Taylor I've a boy he's 4. I think it's a girl thus time because symptoms started really early (week 4) and my skin is really breaking out too which wasn't an issue before. I'm in denial that this could last longer than 12 weeks.
I'm about 8 weeks with my first and I'm sooo scared I hate feeling like this I hope it gets better and goes fast
How was your ultrasound? I am currently 8 weeks and I feel the same all I have to go by is pregnancy test, it feels very surreal, I want to see an ultrasound!!!! And I am so scared I want the 1st trimester to come fast.

Ill be 8 weeks tomorrow, no symptoms other than fatigue and somewhar cramps. Are you guy particular about wearing certain make up?

Question so you didn’t get to hear the heart beat but you saw it? Did they give you a rate at 6 weeks? Also When we’re you able to hear the heart beat and rate?

Boy boy boy! My craving was anything ice cold drinks slush ice cubes lollys. And was thirsty all the time. Another thing was mint aero didn't like them before not eaten them since but during pregnancy I had to have one a day. X
+MrsAllen- RockingFitSW I do really feel like this one is a boy! I just have a feeling. I'm not feeling like I did with Daisy at all and I just can't wait to find out. I find out on the 30th! And you have just made me want a Mint Aero! 😂 xx
This is super old so you probably won't see it but I could eat popsicles and ice all day long and I want a boy so bad this time so I hope you are right 🥰🤞

I completely agree with people being less excited...🙈 my sister actually said oh no what are you going to do? Instead of congratulations 😂😂 MIL said to my mum in front of me...how do you think she will cope now?! 😡✋
My first and third pregnancies were very similar. First one was a boy, second very different one a girl . So I was convinced my third baby was a boy. It was a girl! We didn't find out until the birth. It was so strange though because my symptoms were very alike my first pregnancy but when I saw the baby on my first scan I was convinced I was looking at a girl baby. And it was a girl. So we have a boy and two girls. 6, 3 and nearly 1 y.o. All the best to you on this amazing journey! Xx

Identical twins in the family don't mean you're more likely to have twins. Only fraternal twins on the mother's side are relevant.
I think you are having a boy so exciting to see if the bubba will be blue or pink x

Could you, please, tell the CRL from the scan? Was there a heartbeat in week 8 already? Sorry, I couldn't hear. My scan in week 8 looks very similar in shape and the size of a baby too, but the doctor said the baby is too small and he couldn't hear the heartbeat.
Hello sweetheart. We could see a heartbeat at this scan, but I believe it’s not always the case with every pregnancy. Have you booked another scan for reassurance? Thinking of you. xx

Loool yep agreee with the 'oh she's pregnant again comment. All pregnancies are different i have 3 girls all 3 very different pregnancies lol. My 3rd i was like no this must be a boy but was another girl lol. Xx

I felt from day 1 with this pregnancy that it was a boy... had a gender scan at 16wks and it is actually another girl in there! I still can't quite believe it 😂
Annie Woodward that's how I felt but opp way was 100% was a girl but no another boy so now I have 2 of each
