      It shouldn’t be thought of as your fault, but rather your burden to carry. Some people were born without legs or had abusive parents. Not their fault, life’s just tough like that. Judgement doesn’t need to enter into it. We all have our problems and we all have to make it work best we can with what we’ve got. Blame gets a man nowhere.

    I’m actually in a really uncomfortable position with my current job.
    Going door to door in sales for AT&T. I’m a self proclaimed introvert and it’s like I’m a fish out of water.
    I feel like this particular job is gonna help me numb out my anxiety. Or go talk to girls. I actually see this as a benefit simply because I’m getting rejected in terms of making sales.
    But I’m starting not to give af. And now I see this with going to out to talk with girls. “She said no, on to the next girl.”
    “They said no, on to the next door.”
    I’m actually excited to put this into practice with asking or cold approaching girls.
    I’m developing thick skin because of this profession. And I’m all for it! Even though I’m super sensitive but I simply don’t care what I encounter next. Because I’m getting used to rejection from potential customers.
    I’m starting to apply this in my personal life and I love it.

      Same boat. First time D2D sales. Money is the main reason of course but the social skills aspect is close second.

    Ah, I can relate to this a bunch with my current job right now at the moment. I really don't like what I'm doing for my main job, but I enjoy pursuing a bunch of creative hobbies and hoping to make those my day jobs.
    Its funny because its a constant cycle of this throughout my life: find a new job, love it at first, dislike, and then start applying for other opportunities once the contract is over. I'm in the midst of a cycle right now and its tough but I got to get out of here.

    I agree with you. The more accepting something uncomfortable, I think that I am used to being in an uncomfortable zone. I joined a new group 2 weeks ago and I got the meeting yesterday. It was easier for me to put myself into there than 2 weeks ago.

  • @MMKnight_1
    @MMKnight_1 9 месяцев назад +3

    This was not really caused by being afraid of uncomfort, rather due to lack of experience and knowledge, but I really regret not asking the girl I had a crush on out. I did approach her with no idea if she liked me or not, and tried to chat her up, and she literally threw signs at me indicating she liked me and I was even sure she liked me, but because I was a bonehead and thought we would be a couple by only talking, she lost interest. This was my first time ever getting out of my comfortzone. I learnt my lesson, but this will probably haunt me at times for the rest of my life

    • @thelifewithnate
      @thelifewithnate 9 месяцев назад

      Bro, do it! Ask that crush out, I got regrets from not doing that as well but at the same time time, you can't wait. It's like when a business opportunity shows up, jump on that, and see where it goes. Worst she can say is no.

    • @MMKnight_1
      @MMKnight_1 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@thelifewithnate Thing is, this wasnt the whole story. A month later she showed even more interest but I had gotten a bit anxious and was subconciously scared she would leave again, so although I talked with her and eventually asked her out, I had made some weak and desperate mistakes which sadly turned her off for good. Learnt alot from it tho

    Agree, but some people have crap starts to life that by the time you have levelled up, it’s too late. Hope young men learn from Denmo and become social. I’m 53 with no family, no friends and career has stalled. Saw that my boss has picked up that women at other companies we have business relationships with treat me very poorly and they have move me out of those relationships. Tried to get a girlfriend for the last 18 months using these lessons and not working. Ironically I’ve shown these videos to some men at work and they are feeling so much better and getting girls. Well I’ll keep trying but going to give up soon.

    • @thelifewithnate
      @thelifewithnate 9 месяцев назад

      What are some lessons you can teach the next generation about life and dating in general? As someone who is 53, you have an amazing opportunity to pass knowledge down to younger men who are in the same boat. Start a YT channel, document the journey, write an e-book, etc.
