the first quarter will tell you everything you need to know about how the game will go, Navy was shell shocked by the speed and length ND has, which is why they had about 3 unforced errors, I see army preparing for that so I dont think Nd blows them out but i do see them covering 31-14
Every team that plays ND prepares surprises, this can be offense defense, or both but mostly on offense, thankfully under Freeman they have been able to quickly adjust. So expect a slow start for the Irish, but a comfortable win.
They’ve been saying the same crap every time they play Navy for as long as I can remember. They just regurgitate the same talking points no matter what the rosters or circumstances look like. “Triple option, outweighed by 30lbs a man, cut blocks, they’ll never quit, they wake up early, and football is the easiest part of their day!”…blah blah blah
I watch every army game and go to Michie at least once per year. They completely dominated rice whereas navy lost to them … army much beater than navy …
Just thinking logically here...the ARMY wouldn't be looking for really big 300lb+ guys 🤷 so yeah there is a BIG PHYSICAL difference on the line...NOTRE DAME players want to be big, strong, and hard to move... whereas an army recruit wants to be more athletic, mobile and quicker!!! Two different types of training here. Notre Dames off and def line wouldn't stand a chance in a decathlon against army...but vice versa for football!!!
Where do you see this size difference? They have a 313 pound nose tackle and DE at 280 both sides. Their offensive line is 280 to 310 range. Irish are not massive compared to that at all.
To me it's not just the size of the lines because ND does not have much of an advantage there. Where ND has the true advantage is their 300lb lineman are def more athletic. They should be able to move around much faster than Army. We will see though. If ND comes in with a purpose to get the job done then they will and there is nothing Army can do to stop it.
@ I agree, and I think ND is gonna play with purpose, Freeman in press conference this week was saying it was their "Super Bowl" or to play with that same mindset this week
It’s not gonna be like Navy bc Navy had the most insane amount of unforced errors I’ve seen in a football game. ND covers, but barely. My guess there be a giant sweat at the end for the people that take ND. This is coming from a life long Notre Dame fan.
We’re dialed in. As long as the oline doesn’t perpetually put us behind the sticks we will move the ball although sputter a few times. No team has put more than 24 points on this defense. Army ain’t about to do it straight up.
Not saying Army will win but Navy moved the ball fairly well against them. They got killed on turnovers. Army's best hope is to keep N.D.'s offense off the field as much as possible.
R.L. needs to be up for this game .No penalties by linesmen.ND can't be sluggish or conservative in their strategy, their plays.

Notre Dame and speed in the same sentence. Weird.

This is a good take man. I agree
@@SubwayAlumni1017 There is now way ND looses this game. No freakin way.
Army offensive line from LT to RT: 315, 290, 313, 310, 305. Not sure where the opinion that we have 30 pounds per guy comes from?

Yk bigger the size doesn’t always mean better the player
@@teryndent9720right.. they could be big slow and sloppy
Notre dame by 21+ same thing that happened to navy gone happen to army ?
Plus they don’t even throw the football enough at all
you dont know ball enough to know how more well put together army is as a team. more disciplined and dont rely on big plays
Army had a 14 minute drive the other game. They’re much better than navy
@ they still play the same though they don’t really throw the football at all
These folks are very smart; truly understand Army Offense.
Love the show. ND does not have a massive O Line. Check LT and RT
But they are stronger, quicker, better technique, more physical
Notre dame will humiliate army
What's the size of Army's Oline?
Avg 235lbs.. lol jk idk. But our dline should dominate if we are focused and do not commit alot of penalties like the game against Virginia

Why does anyone think this game won't be just like navy
Exactly, nd will dominate them the same way they did navy and win 52-6
I think it'll be a little closer... like 38 to 14
