Wish this team was a little healthier. I think they could be a legit contender IF they still had Morrison (I know Moore has played great), and had Traore and/or Bothelo on the edge. Also, the loss of Craig at C is substantial. If only .....

You need to get really lucky to avoid injuries, every team in the hunt is dealing with them.

The depth on this team is not only quality but it bodes well for the future. It may end up being the best thing possible for this team to have to develop the depth this way. Obviously losing the guts they’ve lost hurts but now you have a ton of quality depth with big game reps.

    🚨 ** Mailbag Question ** 🚨
With this upcoming game being the 100th Anniversary of The Four Horsemen (just for kicks) If this 24’ ND team had four Horsemen, who do you think they would be?
Love your show! Feel better Tyler!

I dont even wanna talk CFP until the end of the USC game and that scoreboard reveals us as the Winner and we beat Army this week too. Do not look overlook either one of these Two teams. Army is nowhere near as talented as we are, but they play their brand of Football Perfectly and they are coached excellent. They have just enough pieces and cocepts to give us fits if we are not 100% ready for them. USC on the other hand does have talent to stick around and bite us in kiester if we let them. They too arent as talented as us, but have some dudes in their key positions, not to mention its a chance for USC to ruin our CFP hopes and they get us in their Backyard. PLEASE BOYS BE FOCUSED AND READY !!! YOUVE GOT THIS !!! WE GOT YOUR BACK !!! SO WE GOT THIS !!! ALL FIGHT !!! #GoIRISH #BeatARMY #DecimateTheCONDOMS

I hope we play Alabama. Everybody thinks Alabama's going to stomp us. But I don't think that. We just got to make it in. If we can get through these last two games. I would love to play Alabama. That's the only way we're going to get this overrated s*** off our backs I'm so sick of it.I hope we beat them good. That's the only way this s*** is ever going to stop. Go Irish🍀🍀🍀

It doesn’t matter who wins Indiana OSU. Both would drop below us with a loss. We can root for the Hoosiers!

Notre Dame should win easily. That's what scares me. They better come fired up!

I wouldn’t say easily. Yes, I think they’ll win by 3 or 4 scores, but Army is very good.

Why not root for Indiana to destroy the Buckeyes??
That would hurt PSU and Ohio State.

Hope you feel better old man, and thank you for stickiing with the podcast like a trooper! We owe ya and your review is ALWAYS the first one I check for and watch each day.
Question: IMAGINE that YOU are the head Referee for the officials going to Yankee stadium to call the ND - Army game after the high-drama foul up flag-team refs made headlines last week. (heh heh heh, I loved imagining this, really). _What_ are the FIRST three things are you going to do in preparation NOT to have a place in congressional hearings on College Footbal Officiating in 2025? 😇
We differ on predictions for this game by one less kick for Army (you), and one less TD for the Irish (me). I have the margin 28 - 13 (which I posted last cast), the same point differential that came out of last week's Virginia game.
Although I just dont see a ten point greater margin over Navy given the difficulty of dealing efficiently with a well run option, a couple TDs if done in a controlling fashion, is enough of a margin over a previously undefeated team to take the mask off any comparison between that team's schedule and the one the Irish play, with the results they have gotten down the stretch.
I agree with you about ND's physicality, lack of an opponent fumble or interception ATM machine like we had the last two games, and the issue of time sucking control by an adroit Army time machine. I just look at the chances Army _doesn't_ get within a 35 yard FG attempt at least twice, plus a third time for a TD as unlikely, and doubt their defense is that much worse than Virginia's given that Army isn't going to be constantly coughing up the ball in their own backyard.
I hope I'm wrong, and I hope you're right. I REALLY hope Vegas is wrong. The committee doesn't need any help with being confused by an outcome. We have gotten a LOT of attention through the brilliant quality of fun plays, exciting action and nearly incomprehensible officiating. Here's hoping we keep that edginess to an otherwise hopefully boring game with a large enough margin we can shrug off yet another bungling clan of clowns in stripes. Go Irish!
