There was a very slight improvement with the Pixel 8 on the night sight, but the difference is not enough to justify the $200 price difference. The cameras are nearly identical. Thanks so much for posting this video. The camera is the thing that I consider the most heavily when I need to purchase a phone, so this was very helpful for me. Thanks so much!
Both thumbs up for your work! A very clean, comprehensive & nicely made comparison. The "8" is truly much better under low light on both front cameras and that's what I am looking for.
Thanks a ton for this comparison!!!! Camera is one of my most important phone features (but not enough to justify the $$$ and size of the 8 Pro lol) . 8a looks slightly better to me and I can compromise on losing out on pixel 8 features (I never wireless charge for example). The money I'll save can go towards saving up for a real camera! Appreciate you making this in depth video!
The one issue I've had with pixels is their colors and over sharpening on people's skin. The 8a seems to fix this issue I love the warmer slightly more vibrant tones it really gives life to the picture. The 8 looks very dull and dead by comparison, it's tone is too cold and over sharpening details on skin that shouldn't be. Overall the 8a wins it looks like an iPhone took those pictures
I don't know no body talking about front camera video its always on mirror side ...n thats not good in this range n yeah back camera its too good but m not satisfied with the front camera video with mirroring someone please suggest me what i do with this ?
So I have a pixel 4a so can only comment on that, but at least on my phone it's actually just a setting - you can choose in the camera settings menu options if you want the selfie camera/video mirrored or not.
@@EolianWolf as you can say that you can choose from settings but it can't b possible coz I think by default always it's mirror video camera n it seems I did big mistake to purchase phone pixel 8 a n my suggestion for other don't waste your money on Google pixel 8 or any varient

Algo me dice que el pixel 8a tenia activa la opción de gama de colores p3 y el 8 no
Pixel 8a win

Could you please do outdoor brightness test? Phones turning off their brightness after 5 min, oneplus 12 dont.
No night mode test

A very good video, thanks :-)
1:05 actually better zoom on 8a
Beautiful video, that really helped!!!
Looks like the Pixel 8 has much more realistic skin tones compared to the 8a.
Which would be better can u suggest
The normal Pixel 8 is a better phone
U can get both for nearly the same price so the 8a is not worth it FOR NOW
@@shuttzi9878 bro in my country they have around 200$ price difference
@@cursedtyrany8199 Don't buy Pixel from the Google Store nor chain stores
Get em either online or from local smartphone shops
@@cursedtyrany8199 Just buy a discounted S23
The 8a looks like it has more accurate colors
Good job!

Good video
Surprise me to see that pixel 8a looks better in most cases, or is it just me?
It's just you 😂. Pixel 8 literally has a better main and ultra wide camera.
Your not the only , the 8a looks better😅
The 8a does look better.
8a was better with the ultra wide than pixel 8🎉
The 8a actually has slightly better camera specs than the 8
8a more dynamic range - the best
