I had the s23 ultra and i had to give it back, 9x out of 10 none of my photos or videos looked remotely close to natural colours i see with my eyes, i turned off settings that was recommended in samsung forums but it still was garbage, yeah they had good video quality and camera quality i just hated samsungs post processing colour science. Photos looked better before in my opinion I did in fact get the 8 pro and prefer it. Point and shoot it is a beast
I personally preferred the still images produced by the 8a., although i did like the Samsung images. You're right about the shadows on pixels though, be nice if they could tone this down a tad . Samsung s24u produced great videos
different class of phone yet first vid he said was way better on Samsung...so much noise. I am sure you can sort that with Samsung, but as any "normal" person wants a good image with the click of a button. it becomes closer considering the price.. Pixel is easier and much cheaper if not quite as good.
In practical terms, shooting at the usual 12mp setting, there probably won't be much difference in most real-life situations until you get to x3 (67mm) . From there onwards the difference will be night and day. If you don't do much shooting beyond x3 , you're probably better off with the budget phone camera. I shoot most of my portraits between x3 and x5 (111mm) so the 8A won't be of much use to me.
Very helpful video. I was under the impression that Samsung would be more inclined to over process their captures. I think this is enough to change my mind about ever getting a pixel. Not a fan of that artifical and crushed image.
On the tennis court, the pixel 8 actually is the winner. The video looks so much more natural and not over sharpened as always by the Samsung. I don't know what video you're seeing
Samsung always has a punchy look but yet so flat and washed out. Gives it a cinematic ungraded look. I like it. The pixel always has the more contrasty saturated HDR look

Pixel always and always doing the same thing Disrupting face tune, increasing contrast level, in simple just destroy natural look. I don't understand how developers prioritize pixel camera.
Enjoy everyone!! Tried a few new things with the bubble face cam, let me know if you enjoyed it :)
The 8a is a great buy.

There's a green tint in the shadows behind you in the S24 front camera. The pixel 8a did better there.
And i thought i was the only one who noticed this😂
Great video, sometimes it's nice to just sit back and watch a comparison instead of making one :D 8a is punching above its weight.
Hahaha glad you enjoyed man
wow . I watch techmo's Pixel review too 🙀

Really helpful. You are amazing. Hoping to get 8a soon. Manifesting.
Wow man, that’s actually an amazing video. I’m in the market to buy the s24u but im getting very hesitant coz it doesn’t convince me
Thanks I’m glad you liked it :)
Good comparison! Been waiting for a video like this. No BS and stupid fluff...just straight to it

you should compare S24 FE VS 8A [same prices]
And
S24U VS Pixel 9 Pro XL [ coming in oct soon ]
Really well made video
Only a minute in but the Samsung had some weird jello effects on the clouds when you were swinging around.
I prefer the studio camera. Pixel 8A video skin tones are way too smoothed and plasticky

I would like to buy 3 pixels than 1 ultra😎
Haha this is fair
Pixel 8A clear winner. Still need to drag the clarity down.
Great reviewer.... Love from Bangladesh
Do you have a video on best edit apps?
Samsung always has a punchy look but yet so flat and washed out. Gives it a cinematic ungraded look. I like it.

Agreed
S24 ultra costs more than 8a does. So, 8a is almost there to give competition in cam department.
Agreed - that's why the comparison is interesting I think. Best of the best and what you get for under half the price
Love it❤
I mean that’s what you should expect from a budget Google phone isn’t it as far as the camera quality difference
Google imagine processing is just soild, it shows when you put GCam on other devices and dial it it in to truely leverage the hardware.
Wow the difference in audio😮😂
👀👀
I'm so glad with my s24U 😁
Me too...❤
Holy cow the Pixel 8A made your face way worse on the selfie camera. S24 Ultra did much better and far more natural.
8a more dramatic and i like
S23 at 500$ is the worlds best flagship killer currently ❤❤
Try turning off ultra hdr
Umm not even because i like the Pixel but I'm definitely taking that over the s24
When are you reviewing a vivo device ?
I can’t get them in the UK :(

Biggest Difference Price
Still picture pixel is better
Nice details sir
TEAMSAMSUNG
S24U is the clear winner.
Lol.in the video department. Pixel wins on photos.
Both phn camera are better
Опять Самсунг явно проиграл Пикселю. Два бесполезных дорогих говнофона, Самсунг и Айфон.
Pixel always and always doing the same thing
