As mitamoto said once "a rushed game will be bad forever, a delayed game can be good". something like that, however the worst part was the radio silence. They should at least drop idk songs or screenshots or play with the fanbase like snk with the chars reveals or smash itself knows how to do that.

@@aidensnew8562 We heard jack shit for four years. It's reasonable to assume development wasn't going well and they quietly cancelled it. I mean, how many games have a long production schedule that never see the light of day? Wha Happun talks about those kind of games all the time.
The fact that Astral Chain was announced and released between Bayo3's teaser and actual gameplay trailer, putting a Lappy reference in here as a fake out makes Platinum such a beautiful company.

I've never played a Bayonetta game before, but I love how everyone is like "OMG THIS IS BAYONETTA" in the first three seconds, and the rest of the video they're actually unsure until the witch time thingy. Love them for that
You should definitely play the first one to get a feel for the series.
Definitely play both of them, in fact if you get 2 on switch physically then I think you get 1 bundled in too. Some of the most charming and fun games you can find, so definitely give them a chance

The Dog Mascot that pointed a finger gun at the big angel is called Lappy and she's from Astral Chain

As someone who was running over 30 hours awake by the time of the direct and barely moved during the whole thing. Bayo 3 got me to stand up and vibrate with excitement.

The fact that most people weren't even mad (and some even happy) at the thought of it being Astral Chain 2 instead of Bayonetta gives me joy and more hope for a sequel.
Honestly I agree, Astral Chain deserves a sequel, but not over Bayo 3. You'll have to pry Bayo 3 out of my cold, dead fingers if AC2 was offered as a trade. I'd love to see AC2 later though.
It was a very well received game and I think anyone would be happy to get AC2 but we all just want Bayo 3 more after this long ass 3 years of no news 😂

Heard few theories, split into 2 Bayos like the first teaser implied. Bayo 3 logo has the moons split to two opposite sides. Also ideas that there's literally 3 Bayos you can play as.

I got choked up watching the Bayo 3 trailer. Felt so damn good to know she's finally coming back. I don't have many friends into gaming so I doubt many I know would understand that kind of emotion seeing her come back would bring. It feels so great to see other people as excited as I am.

The leading theory is that this is Brave Cereza and not the original Bayo, hence the more modern look and feel. We may literally have Cereza meeting the original Bayo and we see Vigrid and all the angels completely unchanged in design, but in beautiful new gen graphics.

I knew it was Bayonetta as soon as I saw the monster also that fact Nintendo always saves the best for last as it's a popular franchise
They knew this was the trailer to end on, 100%. With how long people waited, but how much the hype and expectation was still there, they knew this was gonna be their big finish at direct and that they would have at least half of their viewers screaming over it. Nintendo understands the assignment.
I've never seen or played any of these game and know almost nothing about thus Franchise except for the fact that everyone has waiting for game FOREVER. Obviously not nearly as much as Metroid but I think this is the closest second.
Also, I kinda wanna learn how to dance like that. Maybe some nice guy would like that. 😅

I believe the guy at the end is (at least a successor to) the main protag from the unreleased Platinum Games game "Scalebound", they took mechanics from that game's development too with the kaiju battles.
