Thanks for posting your video, it was really helpful. I ended up needing to replace that double middle pipe that you showed. 3 of 4 bolts were seized and the heads sheered off rather than unthreading. On cutting the refrigerant pipes, you did it the hard way. Tin snips go through those pipes easily. It's like cutting cardboard with normal scissors.
Thanks for the video mate. 1st one I've found for the R60. I've removed other condensers and Radiator shroud without disconnecting the AC on R56 and F54 in the past, but the R60 model requires AC disconnect :(
Thank you very much for this excellent video! We wouldn't have done it on my mini Paceman (same front like the countryman) without it! Just a warning for others: if you have a JCW version, the turbocooler is way bigger and you'll need to remove the hole front bumper (the big metal part) and the turbocooler-holder on both sides, so the new pipes will fit. And like someone else wrote: you don't need to remove the headlights. Again, thank you so so much!
I'm in need of some help to carry on a bit further with the disassembly of my 2015 Countryman I need to remove the radiator and fan assembly for repairs. Any assistance appreciated! I can't find any radiator removal videos on this model. The ones I've found have been on 2013 and earlier models, which are different from this.
I'm going to do this job and this is the best video I've seen on it, thanks. Couldn't the flat metal bar which is bolted to the car underneath be moved a bit out of the way which might make it much easier to refit the pipework? Also I read that "special" O Rings are recommeded (Nitrile rubber? The green ones) rather than standard or doesn't it make much difference?
@@petewright3952 yeah nitrile are recommended but I wasn’t expecting those and didn’t have any. If you know about it then mights as well get proper ones. Glad you found it useful. Cheers
I removed the flat metal bar which goes from the chassis member to the bottom of the plastic radiator surround, this gave a lot easier access to the A/C pipework when removing and refitting.
Thanks for a clear explanation of a very difficult job. Nice work!
@@ifrancus9623 cheers man. Appreciated
Did the replacement today. Your video made is very straightforward. Many thanks for taking the time to post it. 👍
@@huwreed687 awesome man. Glad it’s of use!

@@JWSmythe haha yeah I’m not sure why I didn’t do that tbh. What a faff haha.

@@davidsalzman6677 wish I could help you there, hopefully as little work as I can get away with on this car haha.

@@InitialB What do you think about that flat metal bar, it looks right in the way couldn't it be shifted a bit if one end is loosened?
Thanks again

@@petewright3952 sorry I didn’t reply I was going to go under and take a look. Good idea though that!
Theres no need to remove the headlights to do this job FYI
Can you do that screw that holds the edge strip on with the headlights in place? That’s decent
Yes, the headlights dont need to come out
I was loads faster removing my minis front bumper. Took seconds.
