Like Logan Lucky (he uses Stewie’s voice), Ted and the sequel (Peter’s voice), and A Million Ways to Die in the West (Brian’s voice; Seth MacFarlane’s real voice).
Seth has no business being this fucking talented. Then using that talent for pure chaos. Make no mistake, my friends, THIS IS CHAOS. And I live for it.
What a lot of people don’t know is this was a shot-for-shot remake of the original music video that Bryan Adam’s never released. He said no one understood the story arc so he told them they don’t deserve his masterpiece. I’m glad Seth was able to share Bryan’s vision.
Somewhat overlooked here is the fact that the studio band that played this totally knocks it out of the park just as much as Seth does. That guitarist is fantastic.

The original was a big hit during my teens. A good, solid romantic song for my generation. And I HAVE to say this, about this comedic bit: What a masterpiece. Loads of talent, put toward a ridiculous, over the top, all over the place silly parody. Not ONE second is wasted. Pure gold, from beginning to end.
This video feels more like a cry for help. As is Stewie acknowledges he lacks self love for himself, and that all his actions, behavior, and murderous/sexual proclivities are all in a vain attempt to fill the void of loving ones self.
Especially the part where Stewie opened the door to his heart, and we see a stewie saying goodbye to himself, stewie growing a flower only to see it whither away, and stewie painting a broken heard by using only violent brush strokes. It’s so sad seeing stewie showing his vulnerability this way, knowing he’s only doing this just to impress someone else, instead of himself.
If there's something I truly respect from Seth MacFarlane is how he gives zero fucks to spend tons of money just to make incredible covers of incredible songs. His humor can't be precisely original or well rhythm structured, but his music is just beautiful
