The Delena & Defan moments in this episode are some of my favorites. Elena giving Damon a hug and talking to him about understanding each other are so good. Then the scene with Stefan just sitting with his brother to comfort him the best he can. ❤
Loved the scene when Elena took her necklace off & Damon put it back on her. It said so much.
I read somewhere that the seal broke because Sheila rebuilt it with her own magic after it was down, she didn't use a celestial event like Emily did with the comet, and she did already use a lot of power to bring it down soon before. So when she died, the new weaker seal died with her too.
The spell.was just to much for the both of them, and they couldn't put up the seal. But trying exhausted her.

The grams scene always breaks my heart and if I’m right I read that the actor who plays Bonnie her grandmother actually died not that long before that scene at least that’s what I’ve seen
The strength Erin, or any of you have, when you're needing to catch up on things, TO NOT GO FURTHER. I commend you! I don't have the strength! I'm so excited wee! "OH! When does HE die?" I love that we're straight in there as the Bonnie defense squad! "I'm not Bonnie. You don't want to mess with me." Such an iconic line. I love Grams! "You're not strong enough to beat me." Stefan: *bodies him" "That's your answer to everything isn't it? Set it on fire." And what a great plan to have 😆 I love JD's "Where's that bitch been hiding?" 😆 I love that we all cried at Grams! (I know JD didn't cry. BUT WE ALL CRIED AT THAT SCENE. RIGHT JD? 😆) I think what's most heartbreaking is that she didn't want to do the spell with the tomb, but she did it because Bonnie wanted it and was going to. She says "I'm not Bonnie," earlier in the episode, but in that moment she acts like Bonnie would, I feel like! y'know? Oh 100% the music choices in this show are GOLDEN!
I always break at bonnie helling Elena's name then her saying "i can fix it".

precisely because of the abundance of such great episodes in the series, fans return to it again and again. It would hardly be an exaggeration to say that The Diaries is to fans of the supernatural genre what Star Trek is to fans of science fiction. ❤

Do you know that Jeremy is actually the historic actor Steve McQueens grandson? He was actually named after him ( Steven R McQueen) and his dad (Chad McQueen) was actually in Karate Kid the one with the bleached blonde hair in Johnnys gang...
Imo I’ve always hated how Bonnie hates vampires because her grams died but if her and her grams didn’t betray Damon and Stefan her grams would still be alive. It’s like placing the blame on the brothers instead of understanding the part she played in it.
There is an episode in season 7 called "Hell Is Other People" and OMG ian's acting in it is out of this world I still remember clearly how impressed I was watching him in it.
In a show full of death, you should never mention that someone will be alive 7 seasons later...
