  • In this tutorial we will makeover this French Provincial Console Table using Chalk Paint. I will show you how to achieve this look, applying textures and dry brushing! We will also keep some wood grain on top and use a nice Wise Owl product for natural protection. Thank you again for watching another DIY tutorial, let me know what you guys think in the comments!

A big WOW Kacha....and most of all an exquisite furniture you have there. First part of the mixed painting I don’t quite follow the colors but of course I have to trust you of getting a beautiful end result....I like very much the detail being outlined just after you applied the old white. And the table top once waxed - just so beautiful. On to the next one.

I love your videos and have watched most of them. This year+ old video came up recently. And I really enjoyed it for two reasons. One, the finished piece is lovely. Two, it shows how much you technique has evolved and how you have learned to achieve the same look with much less work. And three, it shows your followers how much better and sophisticated their work will be if they work at it. Wait that’s three reasons. (Katcha laugh: bahahahahahahaaaa) love it!

I actually just painted a piece of furniture for the first time. And I love the way it came out I painted a kitchen table and some chairs that I got from thrift stores. By the way the music is amazing. Thank you for all of the details she did an amazing job. As funny as it may sound I never thought about using a screwdriver to open the drawer When painting but that is a brilliant idea. This table is exactly the kind of table i have been looking for. I have a space that a fire was taken out and the hole was bricked up and plastered over. I had it decorated with wallpaper that is an antique gold and it has a raised pattern on it. This table is ideal except i would pick out the high spots in an antique gold and the hardware too. OMG woman, you give me so many great ideas i just wish you lived in the UK or i still lived in the US {i did for many years} and i would love to come and hang out with you and pick your brain. When youv'e finished a piece like this and waxed the top, do you cover the painted parts with anything? Either clear wax or some kind of liquid sealant? Thanks again for your artistry, your knowledge and most of all your work. Take care Kacha. Shirley. X
