I actually thought you were going to leave it and gold and just try and brush it a little bit because I know how much you love your gold but it still looks really nice I love navy blue I think that’s navy blue and with the gold and the red it looks really nice I would call it Crimson Tide

I just bought an antique sideboard and haven’t touched it yet because I cannot figure out how I want to redo it. This is the how I’d like to do it but I have a question for you. Should I paint gold on the wooden appliqué details first before I chalk paint it? Or should I just use guilding wax after?

Ειρήνη Γιαννακοπουλου this was gold underneath so it came out after distressing. But typically I use gold gilding wax for hardware, it’s linked in most of my videos in the description.

Hi Kacha! I hope you can also feature the Waverly Chalk Paint color "Moss" on one of your videos. I recently bought a hutch, and was contemplating on using that color to paint it. But no videos so far has featured it. Hope you can feature it one of these days.

I watch you and Christina Muscari, keep dipping your brushes into the wax jar. I will give you some advice I got from "the Purple Painted Lady" a retailer of Annie Sloan paint, take the wax out of the can with a throw away spoon and put it on a paper plate and use it that way or you are going to contaminate your can by getting paint into can of wax.
Everything this girl touches turns into gold! Another beautiful piece of art.

If you are not going to remove them then after painting, if you remove them it wont matter! Gilding wax is a wax so it protects, its a finishing job!
