NBA Ballers was Midway's version of EA's NBA Street, and the gameplay is NBA Jam in the form of streetball. As for Create a Baller mode, the customization was so deep, it was possible to recreate even characters from either other video games or even real life celebrities! Most of the time, I'd create Stretch from the NBA Street series(well, at least a near perfect version of him), and have him battling it out with the game's original characters!
It's a shame because their games were some of THE BEST!!! and they did numbers. NFL blitz, cruisn usa, Arctic thunder, Slugfest... you can't find any sports games where you can beat the crap out of eachother anymore.

The Combo and Style points going into a Pot that both you and your opponent generate points into, and whomever scores gets the Pot of Points is the greatest idea ever for a Sports game that requires Agility, Timing and Finesse. Those dudes that love to Cheese in 2K would eat this game up. We need to Petition to get this game remade into like an HD Remix with Update-able Rosters, and DLC.
