I didn't want to do Secret Encounter first because I thought it was Swordsmachine kind of deal (aka skipping the level) But I kept dying and it kept respawning me at the secret encounter, so I just fought it lol.
I think Minotaur being crossed out is probably a reference to house of leaves, where every time the Minotaur is ever brought up any passages describing it, as well as the word itself are always struck out and in red, which makes it one of two special words, the other being the word house, which is always blue
@@ionisator1 House of Leaves is a book designed and written specifically to fuck with its' reader at every opportunity. To the level where the book itself is a maze of themes, ideas and plotlines that cross over each other and have forking paths. A lot of people come away from House of Leaves thinking it's supposed to be a horror book that isn't hugely scary, which is entirely wrong. Basically, a very good book.
Fun fact: if you don't have knuckleblaster equipped when you die to/defeat the first gutterman, the game actually recommends that you re equip the knuckleblaster instead of telling you how to swap arms
Tip for the Red Guttermen: their whole idea is distance control and being quick on your feet, so I recommend swapping between your blue revolver, projectile boost shotgun, and rocket launcher for for high dps. They’re pretty fast so make sure you manage distance so they don’t give you a Mike Tyson right hook.
Tip for the gutter tanks (red gutter man) is that their rockets act a bit like yours, meaning that using your freeze on the blu rocket launcher freezes THEIR rockets, and if you ride their rockets back at them they die instantly and it grants you a new style point
Light up the Night is so fucking cool. I walked out there and laughed when I saw the silhouette of the Earthmovers, that shit was fucking awesome. You can actually parry the landmines as soon as they bounce into the air, which not only turns them into a projectile, but also heals you like any other parry, making them deceptively extremely useful if you can pay attention to where they are.
Havent watched to the end yet (very very close tho!) You can parry the landmines when they spring up into the air. Nothing tells you this. Also the Guttertank's (red guys with rockets) rockets can be frozen with the freeze frame rocket launcher.
Why are you so weird. Anyway here are some tips on the new enemies Mannequin tip: you can just spam coins to kill it, it’s fragile as hell Gutter man tip: both the shockwave and direct hit can destroy the shield, their melee attacks can also be parried once the shield has been destroyed Gutter tank tip: you can freeze its rockets using the freezeframe rocket and instakill it when you hit it with its own rocket Random tip: you can parry the land mines. *a blue skull on a mannequin may open the chamber of secrets.* Good luck on 7-3 and 7-4.
@@phepp I forgot another tip, shoot a frozen rocket with the revolver when it has blue light. The blue light means it’s much stronger then the original rocket and also it’s a free malicious + core eject nuke (now only works when you put a coin/magnet on the rocket)

If you read this far, i tried my best to encapsulate the true horror that layer 7 represents and the gritty, serious tone it portrays. I can't wait to see what fraud is going to be like, since it doesn't have to do with just fraud like we think of it today, it's going to be a real treat to see how ultrakill plays out into its swan song of an ending. Especially what prime will be used for perfecting this act, or things like just how gritty the darkest depths of hell will be. That is, if the trend of the deeper you go the messier it gets stays consistent into the next two layers. I also wonder if when V1 gets through all of hell, what will we do next? Is that it? V1 just runs out of fuel with all his gear on him, and goes dormant. Until down the line, whatever comes along, finds this blue robot that has a cracked lens, is covered in red stains, dirt and dust, with different colored arms attached, and an arsenal of weapons resting in the darkest part of hell when all is said and done or will it be more like V1 exits out the bottom of hell to return to the surface once more and have this wide shot image of a complete wasteland that is left behind after the human war, completely desolate and with nothing to do or feed on, it ends on a shot of V1 slumped over, all of his gear by his side, and shut off permanently without a fuel source to keep him powered? and lastly, or will he get to the surface, and have one last rush through heaven to kill whatever and whoever we can find that Gabriel didn't? so many theories that all lead to basically the same question, what is V1 even supposed to do when everything that bleeds is gone?...
