The mistake of Harry's life was not accepting the Pat Tillman award. His biggest mistake was marrying Meghan Markle who encouraged him to give up everything he has ever known...his family, his country, his friends, his position within the Monarchy, his purpose....the list is endless.
Accepting the Tillman award was the 2nd biggest mistake of his life. Him accepting the award is sort of the modern equivalent of someone peeing on George Washington’s grave. I’m sure the entire thing was MeGain’s idea along with her PR team, but that was the final straw of people losing every bit of affection they had for Harry. Shame on the PR people who likely understood this, but would rather have a “win” for MeGain even if it’s the end for Harry.

I’m English and I’m disgusted with Harry for accepting the Pat Tillman award. The Pat Tillman award is for American servicemen and women not some jumped up British prince and it’s a huge slap in the face to Pat Tillman family every American service man and woman and the American public, Pat Tillman is an American hero and patriot and Harry should have never even thought of accepting the award.
In fairness, the English footballer, Marcus Rashford received the award a few years back for his focus on and solutions for child food poverty. Well deserved and quietly done

As an American, I don't care a Brit won the award. After all, our countries are allies. My problem is that Harry exhibits *nothing* that Pat Tillman stood for: honor, integrity, & patriotism. When the US was attacked, Tillman left a very lucrative career to join the military and protect his country. Tillman wasn't chasing money & fame. Harry, on the other hand, abandoned his country and ran towards money and fame. Tillman made the ultimate sacrifice. Harry made a mockery of Pat Tillman's sacrifice.
The award recipient is not required to be American.
But the recipient *is* supposed to be honorable.

Similar with IG. It’s registered in Delaware so the two grifters can take up to 95% of the profits (donations) and use it for themselves. AND they still charge their time, expenses etc. to the charity before taking the 95%.

We've read that only 10% of the donations from the Tillman foundation go to charity. What a disgrace that is. One good thing to come out of Harry's debacle accepting the award was the exposure of the Tillman foundation.
It could be as low as 5%, it depends where its registered, for example if the charity is registered in Delaware thats a huge red flag as they only require 5% of donations actually reach the intended........sick.
Invictus is the one thing that gives Harry an iota of Respectability.

Pat Tillman was a well known, well loved and well paid football player. He earned millions each year. After 9/11 he gave all that up to go and fight for his country in Afghanistan. He died there and the American people truly mourned his death. He is a true American patriot and a true American hero.

@@saritamullins8294I understand what you are saying but for the veterans, I think it still means a great deal to compete against each other, and to socialize with fellow veterans and soldiers who have overcome life altering injuries in their duty to their countries, it is an extended military family.
Also, I think it might help their families to get together, network with other families for support and sharing experiences to help each other, too.

I’m an amputee (from a serious accident) and my heart went out for those guys. It’s easier to move around than stand still. Standing still requires over 60% more energy than an able bodied person. And that’s not including any pain factors.

I hear what you are saying. I stood in a long line on crutches once. The misalignment in my body from holding up my weight on crutches and the prolonged immobility had my muscles screaming in pain. That was just crutches from a temporary injury. I cannot imagine the challenge of a permanent injury, the demands of recuperative therapy, nor the determination and courage needed to adapt to a prosthetic. It was massively inconsiderate of Harry to leave those 3 standing up on stage for that long. The human body, even when in peak condition, needs to alternate between an acting and a resting state. Too much of either for too long begins to take a toll.

Prince William & the Royals put a huge donation into INVICTUS to get it started, whereas Henry has taken out a huge amount. Says it all really.
I think he realizes Harry is now toxic for the games (5000 likes, 25000 hates) and does not want to be blamed for the death when it comes, because Harry is stubborn and will refuse to leave. Who wants to deal with the aftermath and failure when even vets don’t want to compete. He’s fed up, I don’t blame him.

In November 2023 it was reported that CEO Peter Lawless, a lawyer and arguably Canada's most respected Olympic and Paralympic administrator, has left his job abruptly. At the same time Nov. 2023 it was also reported that the Vancouver-Whistler team is Bill Cooper, who was in the role of Chief Commercial Officer for ten months until he left in October. And now Mr. Reid has surprisingly resigned before seeing his vision of the winter games full-filled. In the space of less than 1 year Invictus has lost 3 high-ranking key figures. Invictus Germany has split form Harry's Invictus and has performed it's own 2024 summer games WITHOUT the patronage of Bunker Harry. It certainly looks like ALL IS NOT WELL at Invictus. The one and only person who should resign is Harry! But we all know he and his wife will NEVER give up on their own personal Ingriftus Foundation/games, their forever gravy and PR train.

I read that Germany are holding their games between 26th to 28th of July. The 26th is a conference day with the 27th and 28th being the days when the actual games will run. I think that distasteful PR stunt with ESPN and dragging Invictus into it and tainting them and the VETS by this very bad choice and performance of Harry's likely played a role in the CEO being fed up and leaving. All IMO.

FYI - in the First Amendment of the US Constitution in Section 9, are very stern statements concerning people with foreign titles (ie Duke/Duchess) being involved in our politics in any way shape or form. Of course, it's in the legal language of the 1700s. Our forefathers wanted to make sure the British government was never able to meddle or get involved with our politics again.

I don't understand in principle why Invictus would get an award when the Warriors are US based. That's when things started to crumble and folk started to look into it. Neither Warriors or the Vets Assoc deal because they are not run properly.
