Awesome video. Thank you for this information. I’m a first year welding student, so I’m no professional. My college only had all top of the line welding machines, plasma cutters, industrial air compressors, etc, etc. The air compressors our shop used ran constantly and were kept separate from my shop. We just had to hook up our hoses into any connector coming out of a wall then hook that into the plasma cutters, carbon arc, etc. and that was it. Our instructors never taught us about the air compressors. They would just go and turn them on and just like that, all of us students were ready to go with whatever tool/machine we needed to use. It never occurred to me to ask them anything about them. Now I wish I would have because I’m wanting to buy a small affordable plasma cutter so I can practice at home. And I know I need an air compressor for that. I’m having a hard time trying to figure out what type or kind of compressor would be what I’m needing for the plasma cutter I’m wanting to get. I don’t even know how the kind of compressor I need should be powered. I would need to be able to power it through my homes 110v outlets. If that’s not really advisable, then am I looking at needing buy gas powered or even a generator? lol. I’m so damn lost lol. This video is the best help I’ve found. You broke things down and helped me out a lot. Great video!
