I feel your pain. As a hillbilly with no police station for 22 miles at best, i had no idea of license plates even if i seen them or tax's growing up. One guy had a Falcon with no rad in it. Just drove till it got hot and pulled over , rolled up or cracked one open and waited till it was cool enough to make it a few more miles without having to walk kind of place. We bought and sold things and rode in or on them with nothing more that a piece of paper in the wallet if we remembered to bring one. My buddy was selling a 68 R.R. 383, Headers with duel Woody Wood Pecker glass packs and a line lock, torque and kited auto in nice black metal flake for 500.00 bucks. I handed him the cash and he said "all you have to do now is go into the town and pay the tax's. I told him he can pay his tax's all he wants but i just want the car. He handed me my cash and i left , not happy or angry just confused. We stayed friends but if i remember right i told him to stick his car up his 15 in 1975, sucked to be me. School buddy next door i believe still has his 454 modified 70 Camaro race car he never uses because of short cash that has been parked since the 80's . I still know where a 69 Hemi auto Charger is parked in front of the guys house in another town with almost a million people have asked, begged or possible maybe willing to do almost anything to buy it as it sinks deeper into the hot summer pavement per year. About 3-4 miles away there is a 1970 Camaro SS 454 with Jesus inspired murals all over it on a trailer which is also not for sale even if the guy have been in a wheel chair since 71-72. Useless to ask to this day. Or how about a red convertible 4 speed 400 with black interior1967 Firebird very tired but zero rot or about 8 miles from that one a 1968 440 auto Charger painted blue with house paint with a roller but this one is inside and very out of sight to common folks knowledge or strangers. Has not moved since he bought it for 500.00 painted it and something went wrong. If i had Leno bucks i know i would try and save everything i find but at 63 in 2023 it still sucks to be me towards certain dreams or wish's for my hobby.
I'm surprised. No feeler gauge to adjust the valve tappets? Never heard of making the adjustment without feeler gauges. Love the show. Brings back allot of memories.
Is it a hydraulic cam? What to adjust?
