Ciliary ganglion

- There are four parasympathetic ganglia in the head (on each side) and we've talked about all of them except this one.
Let's start with the neurones that are involved, where they come from (sympathetic, parasympathetic and general sensory) and where they go to, and then we can look at how they get to the ciliary ganglion, what it is, how it's formed and that sort of stuff.

just wanted to let you know that I am a third year medical student, and your videos have honestly changed my life. I have found that I really like anatomy, and I always previously hated it because I never understood it. Thank you so much!
Wow I never thought Dr. House would start making educational RUclips videos!
Jokes aside, thanks a lot Sam, this video really helped me understand the concept after the confusing lecture I just had!
After I watched the video for a second time,I realized that it was perfect. A+++
please do a video of Layers of Scalp & Face.
I'm first year dental student in Sri Lanka & fell in love with anatomy because of your videos. Thank you for been a big help in studies.
Thank you Sam Really another awesome video ore videos please on cornea and lens and nerves from thoracic cage☺☺☺☺

Browsing the vids - I see Dr. House is in lecture again😎✌️
I was hoping you would show (if there are separate pathways) which specific thoracic vertebrae these nerves travel through. Thanks!
Thank you!
You know it's real when he uses a board😂

Good enough!👍❤️

Do you think you could make a video about the lymphatic system of the breast ? with all the groups and levels ..... i think its quite confusing ..... that would be so great !
Thanks and greetings from germany :)
path of sympathetics to superior tarsal muscle?
❤❤❤❤❤Love you❤❤❤❤❤
..♥♥..
Towards the end of the video he mentions CNV1; I think he means CNV2. The topics went from super basic last week to super complicated this week... not as complicated as the infratemporal fossa video I watched just before this one though.
I don't think so, CN V2 is the maxillary nerve.
@@robertogonzalez6083 OH, maybe it's nomenclature I'm unfamiliar with that's more specific. I thought he was confusing Cranial Nerve One and Two... like the way Sam sometimes says clavicle when he means scapula, etc.
CN means cranial nerve and V here means the branches of the trigeminal nerve
CNV1 means the first branch of Trigeminal nerve CIII .. and this the opthalamic branch
Thought the A. ophtalmica runs through the Canalis opticus🤔
It does, the Internal carotid Artery travels through the Foramen Lacerum and then a branch goes through the optic canal, this branch is known as Ophthalmic Artery.
Hi I am from Africa I love to learn health science but I can't afford it
I am from poor family
