Heishman AG Peterbilt 589 Project - Episode 1

We got a Peterbilt 589 in the shop from the folks at Heishman AG. The Boyz of the Chrome Shop Mafia are fast at work creating & installing new custom fab pieces for this new model. Stay tuned in as this truck project is underway with many more videos yet to come.

That flex pipe behind the heat shield is probably their “fix” for the stack bushings wearing out every 6 months like the 567s

I really hate the bushings. They wear out and make a lot of noise. I think the new setup is good.

Very curious to see how this turns out! Definitely not a hater of the 589, but I really think there's no good excuse to leave them stock, especially in the interior. Reminds me too much of my old 579...because it is.

Mount the air cleaner lite bar in the center on the front of air cleaner

The 589 won't be as well liked as it's ancestors, 389, 379, 359, it's better than not having a traditional style truck at all.
