Good test fire George, sounds like a small jet engine. I look forward to your blacksmithing journey. Will be great to learn along with you, take care.
Yep, gonna he interesting if anything...lol. be safe my friend
looks ready to go....sounds wicked. Making tools is right down your alley. Be safe with your new tool.
Yes...all the videos I watched reccomended starting with tools. Thanks again for the support
George, safety is your priority!!! I welded and fabricated a lot, it hurts!!!
Yep been there done that...lol. be safe this holidays
Let the games begin !!! Well done George !
Lol...it's going 5o be a slow start.....but I will persist. So much to learn just to start...but hey, learning something new. Even old guys can learn new..I hope. Lol. Be safe out there.
@@2ndchancegeorge it just takes some time it's really alot of fun.
Yep...kinda excited, but lots to prep before getting into it. Winter is here, need to build a little shop...soon. be safe
It worked and you didn't blow up, win win. Tractor supply has welding stuff and doesn't seem too pricey. Have a great day
Yep...only just...now got yo figure out where to do this....lol. be safe my friend
When that burner first popped I damn near choked on my coffee! You need a windbreak outside your shed and a big ol stump to mount your anvil. I've never done any of this but I know people who have. Saw the firebrick on a larger furnace bedded in place with ash.. That is, a fire was built on the brick, reduced to ash and then brushed into the cracks. Over time this acts like a cement/grout. Good luck and great vid!
Ahhhh, yep that git my attention..lol. I did not close one valve all the way...lesson learnt. The shed idea is the way I think. Be safe my friend
I have one of those! I need to add the mix to the insulation!
Yep, it's kinda painfull to do. Don't mix to thick, won't spread well. Be safe my friend
You’re in business now George good luck mate. George did I hear right the tongs can give you C . Are they Chinese made.
Lol....not sure I f Chinese have not unpacked yet. Waiting on other things. But if you ask Califirnia everything gives you Cancer.....gonna be some fun getting thus lot going. Be safe my friend and Hapoy Holidays to you and family
Cool forge - hubby is looking to get one. Could you get a portable car port, maybe from Harbor Freight? Also, Bomgaars has a 55 lb anvil for not too much (think under $100) Thanks for sharing! ☺
I thought about that, But I think there are restrictions on how many structures you can have. Thinking of a fold out work area on that side of the shed....git a 23lb anvil coming to start. Be safe and as always appriciate your support 👍
Maybe try lighting the lighter before turning on gas. That how I light stoves
Hmmmm, thought I did that...lol. maybe not. I also did not close one valve off properly so think some build up in there even before turning on the fas....lol...lesson learned. Appriciate you watching, be safe out there
Forge is a bag of worms buddy. $2K later he said. ❤
Kinda thinking that...lol. 🤔 we will see what happens. Be safe my friend
