door hinges are actually screwed with normal hex head screws xD. You don't see this that often.

The G-Wagon is completely meant for looks, not convenience. Not to mention, the Mercedes emblem on the front.
@Vq37 hr It is not comfortable at all, judging by the standard of modern cars.
@Vq37 hr I don't know about W463A since I have not driven one yet. But i can tell first generation W463, like this one in the video, rides terribly on paved road. Far less comfortable than GLE, X5 or Q7, not to say Range Rover, which is in the same segment. It is comfortable compared with old LR Defender though.
It seems like people are buying Mercedes just for the name at this point. I have a Buick Verano with 105k miles and it squeaks way less. I love Mercedes but Audi is getting more and more attractive as I watch these videos

They literally have access to the Bronco platform...just stretch it and widen it a little...then give it Lincoln level luxury

God my 2004 Dodge Intrepid is built better. The only thing this has over my car is the super satisfying doors.
This thing absolutely reeks of cheapness. That centre console setup is appalling, especially for the time period.

If I was looking to purchase an off-road luxury SUV, in this segment I'd get something like the LX570 or QX80, the latter of which I think is truly underappreciated and an excellent value.
I love both those cars, I think the lx offloads better tho

The LX570 isnt going offroad
Its bodykit gives you awful ground clearance
And you wont get the retro look like you do with the G-Wagon
Just buy a Land Cruiser if you want luxury and off-road capability.
@@joecool9739 you can remove the bumpers, that's what people do in the middle east. They are amazing offroaders with a naturally aspirated v8

This interior looks like something from the 90s... this is a really bad looking interior.
