@@uncommon6969 bro, I really wish I could recall it but it was an interview with a rapper who could actually rap and Ed Sheeran came up and the dude said that he was literally destroying MC's. I really wish that I could find that video or remember who it was that said it, but it was like a reputable MC. I kind of blew my mind for a second but then I know I've been to a couple of house parties back in the day when some random dude would walk up and just lay that s*** so take it for what it's worth. Sorry I couldn't provide like a link or anything
I also thought this in several other interviews. If someone asks him how he is, he always asks the same. Ed‘s interviews are often conversations. This is impressive.
The sheer amount of preparation that goes into these interviews never ceases to amaze me. He set up a WHOLE SECTION OF A RECORD STORE that taps into Ed’s most personal interests and connections. Absolutely mind blowing.
There are still a few people that we wish we could see. McCartney, Eminem, Jagger, Eddie Vedder, Kanye (which should be interesting), Dave Grohl - Taylor wanted him to get interviewed.. Ringo, and of course Neil Young. That interview is a bucket list for Nardwuar. All depends if the artist or their publicist would let him do a interview.
Idk if he's interviewed, Dr. Dre or 50 Cent, but if he hasn't, he should. Like Ed knows Eminem, and Snoop Dogg knows Dre the most, and 50 Cent is apparently a pretty cool dude to talk to and him and Dre know Eminem, and I think Eminem would be fine doing an interview seeing as he did between two ferns, and he has connections now that I doubt anyone working for Em can turn the guy down. It's been a long time coming. If course whether Nard wants to do the interview is another thing, and furthermore, correct me if I'm wrong, but it doesn't seem like he does any interviews outside of Canada, so there's always that dilemma too.
its because he came up in the UK grime scene, started off as a rapper actually and continued to show love to the UK scene that he grew up with even when he became a world superstar
Ed first got his break with SBTV so he's always been respected in the Grime scene/rap scene. He even said himself he gets more respect from that scene than from his own peers in the pop scene
I know almost nothing about Ed Sheeran except that "he's kind of a big deal," but I'm blown away by how well he tracks people he's worked with, how many names and stories he remembers, how much he's clearly invested in the people who have helped him. Really, really impressed.
He’s not a bad artist at all I mean I ain’t gon front he make good music n nah I don’t bump him on my whip but regardless, doesn’t take away from his talent. No.6 Collaborations was a good album as well as “=“
I flipping love this. You've got this INSANELY fun intro with Beat Street and you can tell Avi was elated to help show you around. Was just such a wholesome time. BUT THEN THE ACTUAL INTERVIEW starts half way and I actually got noticeably happier when your intro jingle happened halfway through lol. Great job Nardwuar, Avi and of course Ed! Always asking questions to people. Great to see. Gonna get his first self-labelled album for sure on vinyl after this. Also LOL when he super judged what Nardwuar called "LEGO" hahaha.
He's just such a loveable person. And the fact he shows his appreciation for Nardwuar, well that goes straight to our hearts, I think we can all agree 💜 Thanks Nardwuar and thanks Ed, that was a good one 😊✌️
Ed’s music gets me through a lot of tough days! Nardwuar you are a fountain of information as always! I love how you surprise all your interviewees with information from their past and I love how much they appreciate the memories you bring up for them!

its pretty crazy how big Ed has become since his last interview with nardwuar. He already was pretty popular back then, but things really blew up after that.
My daughter and I were in that shop the next day and had a chance to purchase a signed copy of multiply. What an amazing shop this is with a wonderful selection.
That was excellent. Ed must really be intentional about being himself and being genuine with people, it is impressive to see that in non-celebs, and even more so in people who sell out stadiums. I love it when musicians appreciate Nardwuar. It's another thing to share with them as an audience member.
Always a good day when a Nardwur video drops! Talking about grime and UK music, have you thought about trying to get interviews from the legend Goldie or Ronisize?
ive never seen nardwuar so candid and relaxed rather than just being an interviewer, this was shockingly good, i love his interviews ever since i was a little kid and met him in van in 2004, but this was just great to hear him sayong "wow oh really ed?" "oh thats cool i didnt know that" etc 11/10
Just the beginning picture of Naurdwar and Edward alone was such a great start to this interview. Loved Eds laughter to Naurdwar's freeze. ❤Ed loves legos!
What a nice, humble and friendly man. He's the GOAT.
And this Ed guy seems cool, too.

why not? This is his channel. He might answer it's not impossible@@hucz
@bakerXderek Thanks so much for watching and thee support ! So glad ya liked it ! Doot doola doot doo ...

I'm no way in hell a Ed Sherran fan but from this interview he seems like a genuine person for being one of the biggest 'artist's' in the world.
Same. Just like the Nickelback interview

What an awesome record shop. Nearly all the cool indie shops in Toronto disappeared years ago.
Beat street is the shit! They really embrace all aspects of hip-hop (mc , Dj, breaking, graffiti) as well as pretty much any genre of music.
Toronto is a ghosttown for good stores nowadays. High Notes was a godsend when it opened tho
So true. born and raised in Toronto and its a shell of it's former self these days
