@BeLegendary610 don't forget 4-6 Finals record, while also holding the record for most Finals games lost all time. LeBron has all the pretty stats to appeal to the casuals, but he doesn't contribute anything to winning basketball, it's all about his own image.
Just more evidence of the mediocrity of LeBron’s game. He’s not a great shooter, not a great ball handler, not a great passer, not a great rebounder (especially offensive rebounding), not a great defender, and not great in clutch situations. So of course he’s not great at 1v1 and is afraid to play it. And then there’s the biggest reason LeBron won’t play 1v1 - when he loses, he’ll only have himself to throw under the bus!🤣
@@labynoe Lebron is a top 10 passer in NBA history, statistically the clutchest player since tracking data was introduced, was a top 3 defender in the NBA for at least 5 years, a top 5 scorer in NBA history, one of the most athletic players in history, and is a decent to great rebounder. The saddest thing about Reeves' statement is that it is very clear that sad little Austin has to agree with something stupid that he clearly does not agree with. But on the deer's team "we are all buddy buddies as long as you agree on everything with the deer". Does anyone think little Austin thinks 1v1 isn't basketball? what would it be? another sport? something inferior? Austin is saying, and he knows it very well, words that can offend Lequeen, he speaks his truth but he has to bow his head and agree with the master. sad
So let me get this straight. He thinks he, individually, is the greatest of all time, yet he also wants to say that it's not a game of individuals and is a team game. This fool can't even keep his narratives straight.

The one thing we know about lebron from over the years is that he don’t like competing against other players he afraid of competing which is the reason he didn’t do the dunk contest the reason he’s teamed up with other all stars instead of competing against them , 1v1 is a form of real basketball it’s a way of seeing how your skills will stack up against another player and it’s a way of getting better at playing basketball , he’s an overrated joke

@RealtalkDean don't worry it'll take lebron one or two games to have most missed shots in history already number three on list of losses in finals 118 and counting 37 percent outside of three ft all layups and dunks from this player that's number 10 or 15 on my list
So the stories come out that Deade and Michael Beasley would regularly beat Lebron in 1v1 and now years later when Austin Reaves wanna play Lebron says that it's not real basketball. Sound s like another thing Lebron quit doing.
1v1 is the basis of 5v5. Without being skilled in 1 on 1 ball, how would you learn to defend? How would you learn how to score on decent to great defenders? It helps you learn to think through situations
Bro, I seriously think any fundamentally sound player over 5'10" could beat lebron in a 1 v 1 game. Sheeet, knowing what we know now, Skip saying a 52 year old MJ could beat Lebron in a 1 v 1 game back in 2015 makes him look like Nostradamus.

IMO 1v1 is the PUREST form of basketball. As you said he doesn't like 1v1 because there's no scapegoats same reason he doesn't like free throws there's no excuses just you and the hoop
LeBron was the kid who got found first during hide and seek and then acted like he wasn’t even playing, meanwhile whole time he thought he had the best hiding spot.

1 on 1 is the foundation of basketball! He’s afraid of competition and is afraid to lose. It’s obvious he hates losing or the idea of losing so he chooses not to participate 😂 great video
Like I said in another comment section this morning, Jordan walked into the Top 75 ceremony went straight to Magic Johnson gave him his flowers and immediately said “where’s your shoes, we can go one on one RIGHT NOW”. EVERY and I mean EVERY elite player loves a 1 on 1 situation because they get to show THEIR skills, and THEIR abilities to get a bucket, Lebron doesn’t have that. Lebron has no dribble moves to get open, Lebron doesn’t have any finesse in his game, you can’t play bully ball with the 2 dribble in the key. One on one allows you to display your ISO game, but we already know Lebron always “makes the right play” so he don’t need to iso nobody
All the street ballers, high school, and college players who developed their fundamentals on asphalt, at the Y, in amateur league ball, between the 70's and 00's would beg to differ.
He dont have a bag, its that simple, everyone can see it, you need to have a bag for 1 on 1, Carmelo said Lebron run away from 1 on 1. Rodman said Lebron only has 2 go to moves, stiff jumpshot and drive to the basket. Man has no bag, when you dont have a bag you can only do 1 to 2 things. MJ and Kob had everything in their bag, they have stuff in their bag they didnt even have to use it.
I know a lot of dudes that can't play basketball but will still play 1 vs 1. I have never heard anyone say it's not real basketball that is weird. Definitely it's a blame game for The Deer in headlights.
List ot skills UNNECESSARY to be the GOAT. 1) 1 on 1 2) Free throws 3) Dribbling without traveling 4) Post move 5) Klutch shots in the final 2 minutes 6) Defense 7 ) Mid range shots off of 1 dribble
You forgot ball hog, turnovers, poor pass / play decisions, lack of practice, playing as an individual with team support, stats worrying, appearance worrying (plays for highlight reels vs good basketball)...
@@clueless9245 I just got lost for words when he said his style is "team play." Bruh. Everyone only looked at his 7 assists per game earlier in his career cuz they were like 2 assists higher than Michael and Kobe and thought that meant some $hit. His game is so one dimensional it's just baffling. What team game? It's like everyone bought into this "he makes everyone better" marketing from the 2000s and 2010s and just never bothered to analyze how inaccurate that really is. If Phil was coaching this guy, he would have thrown up his hands in the air because of LeBron's refusal to play triangle.
@doktor3196 He cares about the team since he is not good enough or does not want to put a team on his back. Yet,he wants to be considered the greatest and most definitely best on his team. I agree with you on the stunning "team" statement, but when Wade said he had to tell LeBron, it was his team in order for him to play better?
@@clueless9245 Wade was too nice assuming Bron was gonna stay in Miami. Nobody thought he was gonna bunny hop more than once twice like he did and EVERYTIME everyone just normalized his behavior.
@doktor3196 Two championships in 4 years were not what he expected. He stopped counting at 7. I have no idea how he could be so cocky. Then, years later, complain about the minimalists. His short sightedness would explain so many air balls. He certainly does not get called on his behavior. The terrifying thing is that someone else will come along thrown into the NBA limelight. What is left for teams and the league to throw that player empowerment? That person will figure it out. I do not want any complaints after handing LeBron keys to the kingdom. The precedent has been set. I await that, as well as LeBron's knees telling him 20+ seasons in the NBA was stupid. To think he could have retired from the NBA with relatively good health.
Dribble the air out the ball call for a screen get a mismatch on a smaller player/lesser defender bully his way to the paint for a lay up/dunk or kick it out to a shooter with 3 seconds on the clock so he has no choice but to shoot to make sure he gets the bucket or the assist stat padding 101
He's clearly doing the whole downplay and discredit something cuz he's jealous he doesn't have it thing. Kinda like a guy who can't get laid claiming sex is overrated and he doesn't even wanna do it lol I mean its certainly not that he has no game whatsoever its that he's too good for it and its beneath him lmao God he's so transparent. Honestly who does he think he's fooling with that hilarious statement. 1 on 1 is the purest form of bball and truly shows who the alpha dog is and to say otherwise is pure coping.
I'm a stat first player 🤡 Think about all the skills needed to be a one on one player. Lebron is not proficient in any of those skills. He needs someone else around to bail him out of a bad situation. If there is no one else, he'll cheat by traveling or flopping.

The NBA created this guy to prove that can make who they want a star. 40k point in 22 years with barely any scoring titles is weird. This guy calling one on one not basketball, is absurd and anyone cosigning that foolishness should never touch a court. Only scrubs say this stuff. Did he never play one on one or Utah(pick up game with 3 or more players, no teams)? This is a garbage coward take. His longevity in the game is commendable but then up look at how many games this guy missed by his 12th year. This guy was manufactured by the NBA, came in calling himself King James and calling himself the goat. Basketball started going down in the 2000's there were good teams here or there, but largely the NBA turned it into flag basketball, couldn't breathe on the handler. The amount of flopping i saw from this guy, who's as big as he is just screams soft. He needs load management, while also missing games for no real reason. Nonsensical in season tournament to give this guy accolades. Literally, the special Olympics NBA. Crutch zone defense for folks who can't stick their assignment on defense. Overpaid divas is what this sport has evolved into. LePlant watered by the NBA to try to prove they hold the power to make stars. MJ and others who used their skills and abilities, showed their greatness and had the NBA by the balls(literally). NBA didn't like that and they didn't want another Jordan coming in and being the face of the NBA and not their chosen one!
You’re forgetting though that he VOWED to compete in the dunk content, on live tv on TNT during all-star weekend sometime between 2008-2010, but then chickened out from doing it the following year.

And then there’s the biggest reason LeBron won’t play 1v1 - when he loses, he’ll only have himself to throw under the bus!🤣
hes not a great shooter!? not a great passer?? man do u even hear urself rn. theres a point where hating on lebron starts to look goofy
You forgot free throws
@@knutt81and @labynoe ROFL you guys are awesome 😊
@@labynoe Lebron is a top 10 passer in NBA history, statistically the clutchest player since tracking data was introduced, was a top 3 defender in the NBA for at least 5 years, a top 5 scorer in NBA history, one of the most athletic players in history, and is a decent to great rebounder. Out of all the players considered to be top 10, he’s also the 2nd best 3p shooter. So literally everything you said is objectively and verifiably FALSE
@@gggyy7104 his "assists to turnover" ratio is pathetic, hence he is not a "great passer".
I feel confident that James Naismith's first game of basketball was likely one on one, not 5 on 5.

If a football player beat LeBron at basketball and he played, that is the definition of sad
Biggest things about one-on-one is that when the clock counts down most of the time it's a one-on-one situation to get that shot off so you absolutely better have that skill in your repertoire as well as to get a defensive stop

Absolutely! The best play is to take on 2-3 players at a time. That is why hus team plays a lot of 4 on 5 offensively and defensively.

His short sightedness would explain so many air balls.
He certainly does not get called on his behavior. The terrifying thing is that someone else will come along thrown into the NBA limelight.
