My adventure that this Bus brings me on is like no other level of Overlanding. The disadvantages that oOak (the bus) puts on the table is the beauty of the experience. You mix that with the awesome Folks you meet on the trail and the amazing views, It truly doesn’t get much better than that. 😊
Awesome thank you Landon! Giant Rock is on the list to visit. Folks have been adventuring there since the 1940's. I seen a photo of some airplanes that landed there from the 1950's. Be sure to friend me on Instagram and I'll let you know when I'll be heading out there.
Nice to see this without going in person (too many people, noise and dust!) but… so many people have so much fun out there doing this, really enjoyed watching. Definitely makes me appreciate being able to ride out there mid week when no one is around. Those shift pods look awesome, I was thinking of getting one to camp out of my Ford Ranger but they were sold out.
Hey Rich, So true! It was crazy. The KOH Overland Experience location was remote and on a beautiful mesa. Then you add in some Amazing people with nice rigs. It was a great time. The Shiftpods come in Mini Large and XLarge. Lots of room inside for how little they look from the outside. The XL has a Diesel Heater option. I have to wrench on the old girl this week. I'm planning a nice little (quiet) trip next week for three days.
Next time! LoL Needle in a haystack, Right! It was so busy I was scared to put a camera on the ground. BLW, I'll be at the Overland Experience location next year.
As much fun as it would have been to watch you go down Chocolate Thunder in your bus, I'm glad you didn't. It probably would have been the last video you ever did. 😂
Would be great to build a VW based Bus with a chassis and suspension like these vehicles. Would take camping to another level.

WOW! Last thing I expected. Love the content.
Hope you enjoyed it! Little different for me. 🤪
Just found your channel. Love it. If you ever need a temporary plug in, I live about 7 miles from Giant Rock! Your always welcome!

The bus would be another obstacle for the crawlers to run over. 😬
