I'm a Brit, and when you started the TR4 at 2:10, I could literally SMELL the 1970s!
Enjoying the race is really more important I think. the taking part. You now know how to remove the battery without taking too much of the car apart! Nice car Steve and just go out there and do your best. 👍👍
Nice car!! I've been a TR guy for over 50 years now. Currently have 2 '63 TR4's for restoration. I like the surrey top and backlight on the race car! And it looks like you have a later model brake system and reservoir . Good luck in the racing
Very cool TR !!!
As you say, sometimes it’s not about winning so much as taking part. Can’t wait for the in car footage. Have fun, as an old Brit it’s lovely to see and hear the cars of my youth that haven’t been ‘updated’ to modern engine standards.
Good luck in the race !
Good Luck, be safe.
As a Tr-250 owner....Love this....
Fabulous old Triumph, I can't wait to see the video of the race!
Yes that is cool
Sounds like a great time to be had! Maybe you can trailer that bad boy over to Pittsburgh Pa in July and race Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix.
I have wanted to go to that event.
@@ThisWeekWithCars It is a Great event! I think you would have a great time.
This is a beautiful machine.
You do a fantastic job of showing and explaining what you do, but your videos are too short. I want more. I love your collection of cars, too.
I was there that weekend. I wish I had known I would’ve love to stop by to say hi.
Ahh, the delightful noise that produces... Just something about it that causes a smile. Thanx !
Sounds Great!
Oh that sound. I have my dad's H production bugeye in the garage, needs restored (body work, engine pretty much everything). But hope to have it making similar exhaust notes someday.
Sounds great 👍
Hi Steve. I think it was a couple of years since l saw you race this . And l was genuinely surprised at the mild power output , l think Kas' was getting much more out of his. But that was for a very different class . Thanks Steve
So much for warming it up.
Love that engine
You disappeared from my list! Very glad to see you again; much success!
What a great-sounding car. Good luck Steve 👍
Yeah, Steve! I been waiting to see this car since it appeared on Kevin's channel back in 2020! Will be stoked to finally see it in action!
Sweet ride Steve! I have a 59 Bugeye and I attend the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix every year. Been going ever since 1998. Let us know in a video if you plan on attending or in the comment section. Take care.
I would like to attend wanted to come last year. Don't know when the event is so I don't know if I am free that weekend yet.
Sounds amazing . The front wings with the aluminum trim gives a TR250 vibe plus makes repares to damage eaiser than a whole wing.Well thought out. The video of the racing will sound great.
Great fun
Would like to see the blue XJ6 some more.
Love the TR4 and TR5 models. One day I would like to own one myself... one day.
Have fun Steve
Cold engine and you Rev the Hell out of it. Hmm
I used Optima on by boat anchor system
As usual, great content. Love the car and wish I was closer to pass by and say hello! Looking forward to the race footage. Have fun!
Nice car, always loved the look of Minilite wheels .
Could the reduced torque be down to old fuel
Nice tr4,, do u still hav any TRVs,, do u ever race them ?
You've never had a fire suppression system go off in a small space have you. Trust your suit, gloves and helmet as you'll need your vision and breath.
It is required in most race cars today probably won't be long until it is required in vintage also.
Tyres? Ok after all that sitting?
Is there anything you don’t have?
TOO many revs
