- “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.” Over two centuries ago, the First Amendment solidified the separation of church and state. But in recent years, Christian nationalism has made major legal gains. Correspondent Dina Demetrius travels to Philadelphia to speak with Marci Hamilton, an expert on the Establishment Clause and professor at the University of Pennsylvania, about the increasing influence of Christian nationalism.
Scary times in America
People are twisting "a country made up of a majority of christians" into a "christian nation". Those two things are not the same. A "christian nation" is a theocracy. Matt :5-6 says keep your religion to yourself. *Your* religion has no place in the public square of *our* government. Stop mixing the sacred with the profane
So, you don't actually have evidence that people with significant power are trying to establish a theocracy, and yet you still throw around the term "Christian nationalism". As someone who's not religious, I'm already not biased in favor of Christianity. However, as someone who's honest, I expect actual proof. This is just lying by being intentionally vague.
BS propaganda.
Nah, Christian nationalism is the bs.
What if they have a point? Hasn't Trump ever done anything wrong? Is he a perfect 1:1 candidate for you? There has to be at least a few things you don't like about him.
Anyone who thinks the church has too much power in America is INSANE
Not THE church. Just religious fanatics.
